Have you seen or used this App. for Iphone called Fieldministry 1.10 ?

i had to rub my eyes and blink twice to read about this app.

for the iphone call.

fieldministry 1.1 for witnesses.. a time and address keeper used by jws going out in service.. even the dubs are getting techy.

my personal recommendation: synecdoche, new york.

it's one of those movies that words fail utterly to capture--which really is the hallmark of a good movie, i suppose.

The documentary REALLY opened my eyes to how we get our food. It is a non-political--bias view of the food industry and left me shocked. The way food corporations treat the farmer is monstrous, and the FDA is a joke. The way these corporations control what we buy is crazy. I encourage everyone to watch it.

I decided to stop posting on this thread because I feel I am giving too much detail into my situation, and as I've said before I don't know if he has been here. I'm pretty sure he's glanced through some "apostate" websites, and in the past I made the mistake of mentioning to him I has taked to victims over the internet because he accused me of only speaking to the two Df'd, or faded-uninterested JWs I know.

But I've had serveral "light bulb" moments oer the few days, and like I said it was easier hearing things from complete strangers I have been hearing along from those who know me best. I appreciate all the comments and suggestions everyone has given me, and it has given me a lot to think about. I realize most of the problems we have are not cult related, but some are, and the things that are not cult related will be made worse over time. Thank you all for your advice.

question about judicial committee meetings

a couple of young people about 20years old,,,,were involved with each....they went too far with the being alone situation....not sure if they reported themselves or some one else did...reguardless.....i guess the elders asked both of them extremely embarrassing questions and very very personal ones...like what kind of underwear she wore,,,,,did she have an orgasm.....etc etc..... i do not understand why this is done?????

they went too far,,,acknowledged it,,,,met with the elders...why the deep personal questions??

they already had all the information they needed...... i should know these things,,,being in the borg for 30 years...but i don't,,,i really do not understand why????

I can't, for life of me as a parent understand why ANYBODY would allow a their teenager be submitted to this kind of questioning, let alone themselves. It is like some sort of mental-sexual abuse, like someone said "mental rape".

It's easier, actually, to hear from complete strangers what I think I've known all along. I think the fact he is a JW only puts the icing on the cake of what I'm dealing with. I really need to assess the situation for real this time. Things will not only get worse as long as he continues with his indocrination, everything non-JW related will get bigger, and my relationship with him will only get more confusing.
