Thank God For Disfellowshipping!
by Nicola.threeangelsmessage ini had the misfortune of being born into the jw faith.
however, i thank god every day that i was disfellowshipped otherwise i would never have found the truth.
good riddance to the watchtower bible track societys false publications, especially that book they claim contains the holy scriptures it is deceitful and full of darkness, and gets darker with every revision!

Has This Site Ever Hurt You In Your Journey Out Of The JW Religion?
by minimus inthis site has gone through many metamorphosis over the years.
i believe it is a kinder, less edgy place tan it was a few years ago.
i wonder how many people were helped versus turned off by this place.

I remember when the green NWT came out (as a teenager) I was under the impression the writers had access to the Dead Sea Scrolls. They were a recent discovery and it made sense to me. I dont recall it ever being said at an assembly or from the podium. I am pretty sure I heard it in the car while we were going door to door.
Now of course, I know different; no Jehovah in the dead sea scrolls either.

I notice you have different colors for the amounts of replies to a post, is this related to how many replies there are or some other issue? -

Advice needed on Crisis of Conscience
by cappytan inso, some of you may have seen my thread from yesterday about my wife waking up.. we had further discussion yesterday evening after i sent her the pbs video on the abuse scandals plaguing the watchtower.
she was so furious and pissed off at wt hq.
apparently a close relative of her's was abused by an elder and the only reason he was reproved and removed as an elder was because he confessed.

Once in a while it comes up on ebay for a reasonable price. Put it on a saved search and you will get an email if it comes up. Use different search terms once in a while as it can depend on what the seller puts in the name of the item. -

Catholics admit failure - Wake up WTS
by berrygerry inrome (ap) pope francis' point man on clerical sex abuse said monday the failure of the catholic church to punish bishops who covered up for pedophiles had seriously harmed its credibility and that it must now lead the way by "humbly making the commitment to accountability, transparency and zero tolerance.
"cardinal sean o'malley, archbishop of boston, said canon lawyers and theologians were reviewing proposals to present to the pope on holding bishops and religious superiors accountable.
the proposals were developed by francis' commission of experts, which o'malley chairs and includes two survivors of abuse.. ....

I am Catholic and have said more than once, it wouldn't bother me in the least if all religions were taxed, Perhaps some reduction for valid charity that the government doesn't have to perform. -
