I'm glad you could share your pain with us. We do need reminders of our mortality and the need to slow down and take care of each other.
Welcome back.
when i was last here, my mother had recently been diagnosed with cancer.
there were potential issues regarding transfusion, none of which eventuated.
she undertook a course of chemo which worked quickly and effectively, with minimal side-effects.
I'm glad you could share your pain with us. We do need reminders of our mortality and the need to slow down and take care of each other.
Welcome back.
i went to good will on the way home from work.
bought a dining room table i could afford.
a nice young woman helped me put it in my trunk.
Hortensia, your congregation must be huge by now!!! Five years of technology and the Virgins blessing must must be bringing in the sheep, angels and that 10% discount.
This is the funniest thread, must bring it to the top!
i have been suffering from fatigue, burning in my stomach, and i have always had canker sore issues as long as i can remember.
whether it's from stress or not, i can't say, but i might be getting an ulcer.
the burning in my stomach and intestinal puffiness is getting to be be chronic.

They have a lot of pros and cons. Lots of veggies and no sweets except a few fruits. Nuts and some dairy. You can have BACON! Protien is good, eggs are fine. Fats do help satisfy the appitite. I don't gain when I am doing it. I have huge problems over the holidays when every one is pushing bread, sweets and chips.
I have a friend who is vegan. No animal products period, she looks gaunt.
the congregation i belong to is small and most of its territory is in the rurals.
there is one territory in particular that is some distance from the hall and so it does not get worked as often as the closer ones.
then he said: "i cant talk to you people, you dont believe in hell" .
I like Frenchy's posts, just thought it is sad he isnt here any more. Thought I would share.
the legal challenge raised to the door to door work could be.
huge in its effects.
even if the supreme court strikes down.
So is the reason the Watchtower brought out the new carts?

5 years later and 10thousand more posts.... we have a winner! Glad you are still around.
frowned upon is a lurking member here.
he never posts, but actively reads.
he went home yesterday to attend a family wedding.
It's a wedding so diverting attention to the "happy couple" would be good.
Ask lots of questions, try to see if you can find the next fader in the room. Ask about the missing friends and get the gossip. In general let them know if you are involved in a hobby you like or what issues intrest you lately. Like Jgnat said keep moving.
today i got into a discussion with our congregations biggest blood ban defenders, while sitting at the doctors office.
after lecturing me on not having a blood key chain, i mentioned about the flash of blood that happens when inserting an iv, that the blood was "transfused" back into the person.
she didn't believe me at first but the nurse confirmed the drops of blood.. this really upset her since she has been in the hospital quite a bit since aging.
I never knew the "official word" was this... I wonder if the elders do?
