  Christmas Traditions

  being raised a jw, i have absolutely no guidelines as far as christmas goes.

  i started celebrating as soon as i da'd myself...which is now ten years ago.

  so as someone on here brought up awhile back...i know all the christmas traditions i start with my children and will be passed on, started with me!

  remember these silly tests they make you take?

  i don't remember how often they were, but thinking back on them, boy does it seem silly!

  sitting there for half an hour trying to remember stupid stuff as if you are in school.

  Realization I had today

  today i attended my aunt's graduation.

  she went through the adult education program and got her ged.

  we were supposed to do this program together and due to family issues, i had to back out and could not finish.

  How to teach the bible from a non biased view point?

  bieng raised a jw and out now....i have a very strange view point on the bible.

  living in the bible belt, however, my children are surrounded by it constantly.

  so i know eventually i am going to have to teach them the bible basics or they are going to learn it somewhere.
