The evidence clearly shows that JW/WT is an evolving manmade religion with demonic vs divine origins. Like Mormonism/Joseph Smith, Herbert W. Armstrong/WWCOG, Mary Baker Eddy/Christian Science, etc., any modern group that starts around one man's pet interpretations is a false religion. Christianity rises and falls on Christ. Other pseudo-Christian cults rise or fall on their founder/organization. WT history and leaders are enough to prove that this is not God's organization (not to mention the beliefs that are unbiblical and ever-changing over time under the refinement of men vs direction of God).

We did not know what you were getting at, but suspected you were confusing things based on misunderstanding of word studies. Some say the Son was eternally generated/begotten, but this is more Catholic/philosophical than explicitly biblical.
The problem is that monogenes/only begotten has nothing to do with beginning, being created, bringing forth, etc. Verses are clear that the Word is eternal, uncreated. Monogenes implies unique, one of a kind. The Word is God/eternal. A different word (gennao, etc.) is used for begetting of children through sex. A son can be monogenes if he is special, the only one. When used of Christ, it shows His unique relationship and equality with the Father. The contexts that talk about His resurrection and gennao roots (vs monogenes) should not be mixed in. This is the problem with KJV English vs Greek word studies.

I was talking about messing with God, not me (though I do have a black belt in TKD).
trueone: the universe is not millions of years old; the greatest thing is not Armstrong/man walking on the moon, but God walking on earth (Jesus). He is the full and final revelation of God. To see Him is to see the Father. We know He cares about us and loves us by His providence in creation and provision of the cross (Ps. 19; Rom. 5:8).

God did talk to individuals and they recorded these things. Creation, Christ, Word of God, conscience, believers, etc. is not a complete lack of evidence.
If the Bible is God's Word (Jesus considered it as such), to proclaim it is God speaking to us. Thus saith the Lord is God speaking. Your posts are essentially you speaking. We can speak for God. If God says Jn. 3:16, then we can speak it. The authority is His words, not ours.
Gen. 1:1 is revelation from God. The issue is that you are rejecting it without evidence and I am believing it with evidence.

Huh? First sentence is incoherent. Are you talking about God or us? The issue is whether God exists or not, not whether He is a wishful thinking concept with no possibility of reality. If there is a God, we are obligated to know and love Him. If there is not, then carry on with anything goes. God does provide answers, but this does not mean we invent Him for that reason (He exists and is not a figment of imagination).
Yahweh is God fully revealed in the Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us that we can have abundant and eternal life. He offers a reciprocal love relationship to those who believe and will wisely and necessarily judge those who reject Him.

here is my story sorry if it's a bit long but i need to tell it.. 16 years ago today i was baptized as one of jw's.
i was 17 years old the only one in my family.

Preterism is false. The end is not in 70 A.D. This was an historical event, but the Second Coming is yet future (Revelation is futurist in Rev. 4-22, but past/present to John in Rev. 1-3 based on Rev. 1:19 key to interpretation).

Just as Logos eternally applies to Christ/Son, so monogenes ('only begotten' weak KJV translation) is eternal with Him. Verses about being begotten (not monogenes) in other contexts relate to His resurrection (words have a semantical range of meaning, especially when they are different underlying Gk. words). The Johannine use of monogenes is different than the Pauline or Lukan use of gennao (and its roots).
You are guilty of an exegetical fallacy, assuming the same Gk. word always means the same thing or that the same English word always has the same underlying Greek word.

The 144K are a future group of Jewish Christians during the Great Tribulation before the visible Second Coming of Christ to earth. They are not first century believers. All saints in the OT and Church Age have a heavenly hope (billions). The WT 144K view is a big lie and rip off.
