It's been awhile, PLEASE HELP

it's been about 6 months since my last post.

what a world of shit i am in now.. some of you may recall a thread i started on my problems with my wife found here at http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.aspx?id=24462&site=3 .

Here's my opinion; in light of your situation, there's a likelihood that the children could become a pawn in a power struggle between you and your wife. However.....
If you stick to the facts and how they apply to your particular circumstances, you may gain a more just and fair outcome for everyone involved. For a certainty, making generalizations about a religion will probably not result in any legal advantage for you.
A competent family lawyer will definately be your best ally.

my grandma is sick, dying, and there is nothing i can do.

when i look at her, i see this echo of a woman that once was vital, strong and alive.

My deepest sympathies.
I lost my maternal grandmother to cancer when I was a teen and the pain of the loss doesn't go away completely.
I can only treasure the moments that I did spend with her. Grandmothers are so loving and caring that it's only by remembering them in their health and strength that we can gain a desire to go on and to live our lives in a manner that imitates their courage.
My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

There is only so much that you can know about a person thru e-mails and phone calls. The best way to get to know someone is one on one. These are some of the things that you will not know from IM or online chat alone--until you meet them in person and start to really know them...
How they react to everyday stress
What makes them loose their temper
Is their EX a total intrusive WACKO
Do they have good personal hygiene
How do they drive... calm, reckless etc...
What they look like in daylight, unshaven
Their everyday compulsions, TV habits or other online "relationships"
How they handle financial matters; carefully or extravagant beyond their means
Do they have good manners
And of course...is there chemistry between you two that can stand the test of time

You hit the nail on the head!
Feeling appreciated is romantic.
(Even if it is just a little help with the laundry.) Your wife and you seem to have a good thing there.
Romance and consideration are almost the same, but romance takes it a step further.
It comes from sincerely caring about someone and not being afraid to show it.
It can also just be sharing a fun, private moment together.
P.S. A chilled bottle, two glasses of wine and quiet conversation in the bedroom; that is probably the most romantic gesture two people can share.

Minnesota is wonderful, the gorgeous pine trees freshen the air, the geese stop traffic literally. What a great place to live and raise kids!
