  the february 15th watchtower 2007, is spectacularly nauseating!!!

  at least i found it so.. i would welcome the opinion of all on the board to this sentiment on page 19, paragraph 8 and9:.

  'although subjection can be challenging, women can welcome it as honorable, even as did jesus.

  Last week I was told by my very active JW ex-husband (after me not setting foot at the last Kindumb Hall for five years) that the elders want to know if I have remarried. Apparently, they want me to deliver a written message to them so that my ex can be declared "free." I told him that I don't owe those elders ANY explanations regarding my personal business. I said to him: "You have the divorce papers. You haven't been married to anyone for the last three years. If you need the elders to tell you when you are free, then I guess you aren't really."

  i was just pondering how the wts has, for over a century, been able to convince people to do what is contrary to their best interests with fear tactics that armageddon is coming soon, and i came up with what is going to be my pet phrase for a while:.

  but, in my arguably limited experience, i've been shot down while doing all of these (at differnt times obviously).

  so, what do women really want?

  Well, I know what I don't want:

  A man without clear goals in life.

  A man who snores. (I can't cuddle with loud noises in my ear...huge turn-OFF)

  A man who doesn't bathe every day.

  A man who is not loyal and faithful or is basically a player

  A man who gives a religion or anything else higher priority than his family.

  just a little breaking news:.

  after several years of a great friendship with diane (previously posted as xena) things have started to really come together recently and i've succumbed to making an honest woman of her (or at least as honest as it's possible to make her.

  last night (xmas day) i popped the question and she agreed to marry me (i wonder if she knows what she's let herself in for!!!)..

  Best wishes to LT and Xena. I found this little tid bit. It was very true in my marriage with a JDub. I left the cult after a few years and he's still slaving away, trying to "reach out" but always getting passed up for a "promotion."
