My name was brought up last night in the elders meeting !!!

i was just told by my dad that my name was brought up last night in the elders meeting.. my dad (is or was) an elder, and he told me that the elders are going to be giving me a call.

they have heard rumors that i am an apostate !!.

he said that the elders received a call from another hall that heard that i was an apostate and 1 local brother also turned me in.. does this mean that they have 2 witness to my sin and that they can df me without a jc?.

Hi bud,

From reading alot of experiences on when members start snitching to elders saying that they feel someone is an apostate, the elders take it VERY serious and will contact you. Sometimes it may even prove that someone in your family have come to the elders on you. Its most likely anyone you have talked to and you have said anything negative about "God's Chosen Organization." My advise is chill and when you get the phone call from them, be as nice as possible and meet with them if they ask. As long as you say that you believe that that organization is God's spirit directed organization they won't disfellowship you. I actually had an elder I had known since I was little contact me and ask me that same question because my mom kinda snitched on me and I questioned the false prophecies. I said yes, because one day I may be able to fake it and go back for my family. Also, make up a good excuse about missing the meetings and service like "Brothers I have been struggling with social anxiety for several years but will not give up" lol. That should work. I would fake it and come back, but I know that I would punch an elder in his face if I met with them right now!! You dont want to get disfellowshipped for APOSTASY!! Dont let them win, they will never reinstate a hell spawn.

You sound like a very nice lady. I am very sorry to hear the horrible things you had to go through growing up. No one should ever have to be exposed to such a life. I am not sure if everyone understands "the facts I choose to except." I think this phrase is better than saying "what I believe in" because there is a big difference. It is not that I dont believe in God or a God anymore. I see it this way, using logic and reasoning I can never say that this earth, life, universe; ect just came about by chance. I know there had to be some type of Creator or Creators, I honestly have no idea but I would assume some advance lifeform/s had something to do with it. Now the disconnect is to automatically give the credit of Creation to the Bible's God. For one, the Bible claims that the God written about in it is the author of it and that his Word is infallible. So what that tells me is The God of the bible has a pretty good chance claiming to have created everything if his word is infallible, right! OK, now if there is one tiny contradiction or untruth then that whole book is no longer considered infallible and the supposed author of it looses all credibility. We have to be strict with this logic because the Bible isn't saying that humans are the author of this book but a perfect God is.

What was one of the shockers to the truth of the Bible was the Global Flood Story. The Bible said that God punished evil mankind with a Global Flood and even Jesus referred to the Global Flood story. So, the Bible's God said it was a GLOBAL FLOOD that occured. Anyone that say's "well it was regional or you cant take that story literal" are calling the Bible's God and his son Jesus a liar!! We all have to except that fact first before anything else. Its kinda like when we all had to face the fact that the Watchtower was not God's channel of communication. It turned out to be a fact tho! Ok now lets go back in time.

Records of flourishing civilizations in China , Egypt , Babylon , and Mesopotamia exist straight through the flood era of 2500-2000 BCE. This contingency creates a stack of obvious problems without planned solutions because the flood supposedly vanquished the inhabitants of these regions. If this was the case, why do we now possess their journals made before, during, and after this global deluge? The flood would have certainly destroyed these societal accounts if God were truly guilty of genocide. If people from each region somehow managed to survive and continue these records, why isn’t the cataclysmic flood mentioned in their accounts? In fact, no sort of catastrophe on this level exists anywhere in the written histories of any society during any era. On the other hand, records of ancient civilizations frequently mention several local floods. This is quite possibly the most compelling reason why many Christians have abandoned a global flood hypothesis in favor of a local one, a proposal rapidly gaining in popularity that I will debunk toward the end of this chapter. Had the authors known their descendants would one day be able to date these civilizations, the story most certainly would have been different from what we have today.

There is much more evidence that supports that NO global flood ever happened! Now this is the hard part for most of Christians right here. I will go back to my previous statement when I said we have to face Facts like when most of us found out the truth about the Watchtower. Ok, you ready....THERE WAS NO GLOBAL FLOOD..THE BIBLE IS FALLABLE...THE BIBLE'S GOD IS FALLABLE!! Dont get me wrong, there are alot of great and wonderful points in the bible, points that made me the man I am today. But I had to realize (this is just me) that the bible is fallable because "imperfect" men are the author. Sometimes I feel like I may even be doing a Creator/s a favor because there are alot of things written in the bible that make the Bible's God seem evil. Making us (my dad) suffer for what 2 people we dont even know did. Asking faithful Abraham, "Go Kill UR SON FOR ME" or even sitting back and watching faithful Job loose his family and suffer to the point of beggin to die because the Bible's God wanted to see if he would keep having his back..... I dont mean to offend if believing in the Bible's God made you a stronger woman then thats whats up!! It made me feel stronger growing up and when I faced the facts and stop believing in the Bible's God for some reason I continued to be a strong good person who would never be mislead again!!

Today I was thinking about my reply to you from yesterday and kinda realized I probably came off rude to you. I am sorry for that. When you go through the same things I have went through within barely 2 years at a young age (My dad passing away to a terrible illness that much older people are diagnosed with) watching my dad go from a strong 61 year old to falling down because his muscles are giving out, unable to chew his food, unable to control urinating, and quickly loosing his grasp on reality (like a mixture of MS and Alzheimers), its makes one a very tough and hard logical individual. I grew up thinking that my whole family would walk into the paradise! I didnt even think i would be able to finish high school in "this system". So when I reason through months and months of research that there is no way I can believe the Bible or the God of the Bible, I have ALOT of evidence to point me to that conclusion. Its a very emotional subject for me...Oh yea plus I dont really care for active elders because of the "WE RUN THIS" attitude 95% of them have. So all that to say, sorry for coming off rude!

Hi TJLibre. First off it would have made more sense to put this post in the tread I already created if it was a response to me! I understand if you just wanted to preach to others as well... Second, you sound ALOT like a very active elder. I was looking at a couple of your past posts and your questions to the members here sound like you are doing a survey for the Governing Body ex :(HOW MANY ELDERS ON HERE?) lol. Come on guy, I may not be the most intelligent speaker (im down South) but I didnt graduate from a renowned University in Construction Managment @ 21yrs old and get a lucrative job in the Oil & Gas business because i catch on slow!!

You must have missed my points in my previou post because I don't have any feelings toward God, Jesus, and the Bible. A global flood never happened.

Do you know how many different global flood variations exist from ancient civilization...THOUSANDS! Actually I can tell you a global flood story that is dated back well before Noah's story. Research the Epic of Gilgamesh. Think about it, if a flood happened back during ancient times (no internet, tv, news, weather reports) they would think that the world was flooded! And if you want to say, "well it was local" you have inadvertently proved that Gods Word is fallible because the Bible and Jesus said GLOBAL FLOOD!! Stop doin like the JWs do...Add to the scripture when they dont add up!

The Old Testament is ridiculous.

Genesis

God creates light and separates light from darkness, and day from night,

how would killing everything help to make the world less violent? Did he

think the animals would behave better after he "destroys them with the

earth"? I guess God works in mysterious ways. 6:11-13

God worries that people could actually build a tower high enough to

reach him (them?) in heaven. 11:4

God decides to kill Moses because his son had not yet been circumcised.

story shows the importance of penises to God, and his hatred of

I am pretty much a new student when it comes to the real human creation facts. If i am not mistaken fossil records show that humans (mammals like us now days) have existed for almost 200,000 years originating from Afrika! That timeline isnt nearly close to the bible's human creation timeline story lol. From my research, all ancient humans and the previous human/ape species have always lived much shorter lives than us now day. Back hundreds of thousands of years ago, life was extremely hard (we have it easy now) and yes, their lifespan was about 30 to 35 years average. All reference of ancient human lifespans of centuries upon centuries is only supported in the bible and not reality. I am actually listening to the that PBS episode right now (im at work and there is nothing else to do lol) and I have pasted the website so you can watch all of it since your two year old wanted to watch Spongebob lol. Nikki, this subject would be a great tread to start because I am sure there are alot of members more knowledgeable on the human and human/ape species. And yes it is very interesting that these ancient species of humans had rituals and worshipped their God/Gods etc... I want to know more as well!!!

men where shown a variety of pics of women with hot bodies, plain or not so pretty faces.

and then hot faces and normal to not so wonderful bodies.

I was (married now) a super picky guy and my wife had to be black/mexican mix with a "banging" body. She has both but if i had to pick....I would say HOT FACE! I have seen girls with cute faces and alright bodies get super toned and all the dudes were like "oh baby, is it too late to holla" lol

Thank you all soo much for your warm encouraging words and understanding. This is actually the first time I have communicated with others who know the truth about the "truth." Dissed - Ok I take it back. All 66 books of the bible are pretty ridiculous. The whole book is just retarted literature pushing a belief system. Its actually a dangerous book because billions base their life on it. If I read it, its for pure laughter!

Babygirl30 - I like to officially call it the "WTF Moment." Those who experience it never go back or fake it to get their family back while others let mind control (what they want to believe) take over and stay. I have actually had several WTF Moments while I was in there but its only so many of those moments one can take lol.

Watson & GLT - I truly hope that my tread can benefit all those "young lurkers" out there. Even if they chose to stay in that religion, at least they will now know what type of religion they really are in. I have tried many times to share researched info with my family bu they chose not to listen, but I feel deep down I have let them know what type of cult (i mean religion) they really are in. Every JW (especially young ones) needs to know the truth about the truth! And GLT, I will try to apply your loving advise. Right now its really hard for me to even care about any of my family members. I have shared alot of info with them and they choose to keep their eyes closed. Sad...

JamieBowers - To put it quickly, my mom really started to shun me when she realized I would never come back to that religion (about a month ago). I have two sisters (one is an elder's wife) she cut me off as soon as I was defellowshipped. She was always self-righteous even though she did alot of dirt growing up. My other sister has stopped communicating alot since she found out I am never planning on going back. What's weird is it doesnt hurt me or anything. Ever since my dad died (I was very close to my family but he was never completely brainwashed and it made our bond stronger) i have a "It is what it is" type of attitude on life. Thank you!

First off LMAO, i was just joking by my title guys. Im only 24yrs old and I like to have fun! Anyway, this is my very first post on this wonderful site. A couple of years ago I would have thought I would loose eternal life if i had just joined a website like this much less make a post lol. I dont want to type up my life's story or anything but kinda give a quick run down of what I have learned within the last year and a half or so. Well, actually that will be too much rehashing on the past and I am very happy where I am today!! I'll just make it quick lol.

I was disfellowshipped about two years ago for banging my "worldly" girlfriend. Wait, i wasn't exactly disfellowshipped for that, i was disfellowshipped because i didn't choose to "break off all ties with her." Yea, i was like ok I wont bang her anymore, we will never put ourselves it that situation again and always have somebody with us. Of course that was a no go. And by that time I was pretty pissed off by one of the elders asking me ridiculous personal question like "How many times, Is she pregnant, How can u be sure she isnt pregnant, So when u say sex was it intercourse?" That elder could have damn near ask me was she good!! So in a blink of an eye, someone who grew up and got babtized at 15yrs old in "the truth" was on the 'ship'. I had recently graduated from college and was in this new state and new congregation by myself ALONE! I couldn't believe it!

Back then I use to think if anyone was disfellowshipped, they weren't worth anything so I felt like that was my time to do whatever I wanted to do. So my girl moved in with me and oh man it really was a fun time. But that next year I lost my dad to a terminal illness. His illness took him out in like a matter of 7 months. Oh yea, my whole family (parents and siblings) are in "the truth". So of course after his funeral I decided to get married and and come back to Jehovah lol. Because you know, if dont get reinstated I wont ever see my dad again in paradise. Anyway.... I had my wife start a study and we were making the meetings regularly, you know working for that precious man made forgiveness! When I started "coming back" I switched congregations because I was alot closer to another Hall and I was still pretty pissed at that pervert brother and the other pervert brothers who didnt put him in his place. About 5 months after that, my job decided to relocate me to another state. I decided to write my "Letter of Repentance" (im still trying to find a scripture to support that letter) and met with the brothers before I left. Basically when I met with them, they were like "The brothers in the congregation where u sinned at want to know if you are married to that girl you banged and if yall got any kids and is she studying." I was thinking "what does this have to do with me being repentant but oh well I will answer because I want to see my daddy again." To sum it up the elders said "ur doin a good job and stuff but it takes at least a year to come back to Jehovah. You will have to start over when you move into your new congregation and give us a holler after a year from now." That is the first time when I though to myself, this sh*t isnt in the bible and no imperfect man can keep me from coming back to Jehovah (I thought Jesus died for me when I sin) but I guess the individual elders die for us when we try to get reinstated.

From that point on started doing what was forbidden from that religion, start doing research on the Jehovah's Witnesses. Within a month I had found out that the only religion you have to be in to get salvation and everlasting life was: bloodguilty, liars, hypocrites, false prophets, ect... Raymond Franz books helped ALOT!

So in the end I had found out the truth about the truth. The question now was what am I required to do as a Christian and follower of Jesus because I want to still please Jehovah and see my dad again. So the next step was finding out what really was the true religion. After spending many months visiting this site as well as others, I came to 2 conclusions as to where ex-jehovah witnesses go:1)To Jesus-But that basically means they get swept right up into another man made religion and 2) They loose their faith completely in God, Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH, take a guess cause no one really knows. The more reseach I did I found out man have been on this earth for hundreds of thousands of years, a global flood never happened (didn't jesus refer to one), most of the Old Testament is ridiculous (God doesnt test us but ask one of his faithful servants to kill his own son), the egyptians have never enslaved jews, and last but not least (there are many more) there is no way in heaven or hell a couple of people uploaded every animal into a ark and afterward populated the world over 6 billion peoples of all races in less than 4.5 thousand years.

I have always been a logical young man my whole life. I now realize that I wont see my father ever again, HE IS DEAD! It hurts but have to accept it. There is no paradise coming and nobody is going to heaven to be with the Lawd lol. Im sure alot of people couldn't accept death even thousands of years ago. So within about 2 year I went from a devout JW to a spiritually dead person to now a atheist/agnostic. Its been a great experience! I will never believe in a bible, the god in the bible, or any religion. Its all bull made up by people back in the day and most of the stories in the bible comes from myths!! WOW. Free at last, free at last, thank ...... uh the internet I am free at last. I do have some questions for you guys though. Thank you all for reading my story! Oh yea if anyone is wondering when I started researching that religion I immediately showed my wife what I had found out and she stopped studying soon after. The organ transplant bloodguilt and evil aluminium did it for her. Yep, I snatched her out of the fire!!!
