None of those will work. Also depends on the end reason for what your doing. If really trying to help, then lead by example, get real heavy in bible reading, and having Jehovah and the BIBLE change your life. Bringing out scriptures, and somebody slowly seeing how things are NOT going in harmony with the bible. The instant somebody who fully believes in faithful slave things apostate thinking is happening, will block it out mentally.

A question for all ex jws AND JW's here, btw I'm new too
by EndofMysteries inso far quite dissappointed from what i've seen.
this is very very important, first i"ll address the non/ex jw then i'll address the jw's (jw's scroll down if don't wanna see the first part).
i see so many who have concluded that it was not 'god inspired', a lot of what is being done, and their conscience told them that many things conflicted with jesus teachings and the bible.

I understand soonernc, I haven't found a way to talk about this subject at all, without most taking it the wrong way. How do you explain something your 100% sure about, without the other one taking it the wrong way.
That's why I said I didn't deserve what I am knowing, I'm not special, and I am not looking for followers or any to look up to me, but just encourage the best I can to rego through the bible, maybe some other books, and a lot of prayer.
Worldwide all of us humans are family, especially those who WANT to serve God. I'm seeing how the divisions have taken place.

Jeremiah, WOW, I wonder if you are in a sense in my situation. As basic as what you said is, that is a very advanced understanding. If you have done anything I've been doing, I would like to private message you with a few questions. That is, if you are still taking in knowledge or have ceased. If you are, then I defintely would like to speak with you.

I have not mastered those books or fully understand them, I only started reading and going over many of them several months ago. I don't understand greek or hebrew, though would love to learn them, but I don't think there is time for that.
You can get online translations and interlinear versions of those books, as well as several ancient hebrew/greek biblical documents. You can read the english translations, then how the 'said' book or translatation would rephrase them and compare to various bibles.
Book of Jasher for example, talking about Cain murdering Abel, you read..... "7 And in some time after, Cain and Abel his brother, went one day into the field to do their work; and they were both in the field, Cain tilling and ploughing his ground, and Abel feeding his flock; and the flock passed that part which Cain had ploughed in the ground, and it sorely grieved Cain on this account.
18 And Cain approached his brother Abel in anger, and he said unto him, What is there between me and thee, that thou comest to dwell and bring thy flock to feed in my land?
19 And Abel answered his brother Cain and said unto him, What is there between me and thee, that thou shalt eat the flesh of my flock and clothe thyself with their wool?
20 And now therefore, put off the wool of my sheep with which thou hast clothed thyself, and recompense me for their fruit and flesh which thou hast eaten, and when thou shalt have done this, I will then go from thy land as thou hast said?
21 And Cain said to his brother Abel, Surely if I slay thee this day, who will require thy blood from me?
22 And Abel answered Cain, saying, Surely God who has made us in the earth, he will avenge my cause, and he will require my blood from thee shouldst thou slay me, for the Lord is the judge and arbiter, and it is he who will requite man according to his evil, and the wicked man according to the wickedness that he may do upon earth.
23 And now, if thou shouldst slay me here, surely God knoweth thy secret views, and will judge thee for the evil which thou didst declare to do unto me this day.
24 And when Cain heard the words which Abel his brother had spoken, behold the anger of Cain was kindled against his brother Abel for declaring this thing.
25 And Cain hastened and rose up, and took the iron part of his ploughing instrument, with which he suddenly smote his brother and he slew him, and Cain spilt the blood of his brother Abel upon the earth, and the blood of Abel streamed upon the earth before the flock.
26 And after this Cain repented having slain his brother, and he was sadly grieved, and he wept over him and it vexed him exceedingly.
27 And Cain rose up and dug a hole in the field, wherein he put his brother's body, and he turned the dust over it."
Does it not appear to go perfectly in harmony with the bible, and give a better understanding. THEN in the bible we hear how Lamech had killed a man and if cain was to be avenged, then Lamech 77 times. But who did he kill? Well in Jasher it says....
(I'll let you read it or look up yourself, but that Lamech accidentally killed cain in a hunting accident)
again seems to go perfectly in harmony with the bible, then it goes on to show how Enoch became very wise and people all over the world went to him for wisdom and understanding. Then it never mentions about angels coming to earth, but that man became very wicked and the flood was due to man.
So in the beginning, book of Jasher teaches man became wicked, and God taught Enoch what to teach mankind, and knowledge.
The book of Jubilees shows that 'watchers', angels involved directly with earth came to earth and defiled themselves. first there was a flood of eden, then the great flood. that watchers (I think that they were told to teach people how to serve god and taught many things, then defiled themselves while on earth)
In the book of enoch, shows how a bunch of rebellious angels made a pact to go to earth, and when there taught sorcery, forbidden things, and had relations with humans. Then they even went to enoch to talk to God on their behalf since he was righteous in Gods eyes. THere was a flooding of cains land when rivers surrounding it flooded. But then the great flood later on.
The "bible" we have, shows that the angels materialized and had relations with humans. Enoch was a rightous person but not details, then flood came.
Many of these other books give details where they are lacking in the bible. What is very much of note in the bible, is you will see how Cain and Seth, their children had very similiar or identical names. Cain's first son was Enoch, and down the line you had from Seth Enoch, who followed God. Cain's son Enoch became of a great nation. In the bible, see how similar so many of the names are, which could be used to deceive and give alternate or counterfeit truths.
It's AMAZING how trying to find a fault in one can be difficult, and how perfect and cover every chance is covered. For example, in the bible we have the years lived by the men. In what I thought could have been a counterfeit, the bible shows that Noahs grandfather died the same year of the flood, and in one of these books shows how he was a true servant of Jehovah, so I thought, AHAHA, now I'll catch a lie, lets see it explained how he died if he was a true servant of God. Well the book that talked about that, mentioned that Jehovah had waited until he died to begin the flood. Okay, so I 'guess' that could be true, it addressed it. That's as much as I will talk about, as I am not giving away anything, but hoping it gets you thinking. Beyond this would only be a one on one basis or with those I know are really seeking the truth and to serve God. At the very least, many other sources can give further insight on teachings. In James he talked about the prophecies of Enoch. Also apostle paul spoke about the 3rd heaven, being paradise or looking like it. (there is an ancient document and verified, which gives insight into what exactly he may have been referring to)
Even though you may have seen untruth, don't forget that the falseness and lies are based on what you were taught scriptures meant. If you allow God and trust in him, you may find much truth, and what you thought were lies can melt away.
I'll leave this at that. I'm not looking for anything, only to give the little push of encouragement that may have been needed for the sheeplike ones to maybe reinvestigate their final conclusions and perhaps go over more then they had before.

Okay, for the last 2 responses, If you have read and compared the Dead sea scrolls, the book of Jasher, the book of enoch, secrets of enoch, book of jubilees, the Qu'ran, the two babylons, greek mythology, and the ancient pagan religions/gods/and their origins. That statement was because of that, I view the bible and those books and more as all part of a puzzle, and you will not understand what I was saying, if I am talking about books and things which you've never read before, nor are on the same page.
Can you speak to someone in a different language and they understand if they don't know it? Can you talk to someone about calculus if they only understand basic math? Gotta be on the same page for certain things, has nothing to do with elevating myself, it's just have you read those things so you can understand what I would be talking about when referencing them or not.

Wow, too many responses to respond individually, but I'll answer what was the majority of questions.
First, many are thinking I am still blindly following the organization, if I was, why would I have made those statements to the active JW's? I see a wrongness for the most part on both sides.
Those who were offended or why I made claims some had left looking for an excuse to be immoral. That was based off of some threads about when leaving the organization have you been naughty or nice, or what did you do when you left, etc. Out of many of your own mouths. I did not see answers that were just against the 'human' understanding and teaching from them, but many that were flat out against the scriptures of 'any' bible. But seeing as how many don't believe in God, or the bible anymore, I guess that makes sense.
For those asking why would the truth only be revealed to certain ones and not everybody. Can you all agree that most of the worlds problems are due to corruption? How people have attained positions, by lying and having ulterior motives, and once there the problems occur? The bible was written so that when Jehovah and Jesus see right heart condition, those really having faith, seeking out, etc, they can get understanding. If everything was black and white, then someone could try to follow or do the things to get saved, and also that it would be just words on a book. To help filter out and on the day of judgement those will really know based on their choices their judgement is true, and the faith building on those who are getting understanding that makes more sense then anything, that isn't even being taught, that no doubts it's from God.
There is only one way I can think of describing it. Once learning how what was taught was not the full truth, the picture gets shattered. Then your given a box filled with hundreds of pieces of a puzzle. As you look at each piece, they do not make sense, and quite hard to understand. As your putting the pieces together (more then just the bible may be parts of the puzzle), then slowly your getting an understanding of what it is. As you get towards finishing it, all of it comes together and it becomes really clear.
My 'story'. Raised as a jw, and fairly young was into the end days prophecies. Started doing research into them, and when looking up in revelation book, etc, could not accept that most of them had already happened. It appeared many were still due to happen in the future. Few years went by due to sickeness ,etc, then got back into it again. Doing major heavy research and reading, and saw how most of the prophecies WERE for the future and didn't happen back in 1918 to 1930's. Then trailed all the teachings, so see if faithful slave was as was told, and from bible reading, etc, definitely not. Then had deep prayer and more research, and all my questions were being answered in the bible. If the preaching would be done worldwide, WHY were JW's doing it, and Jehovah showed me in the bible an explanation of how it was being accomplished, even if not approved of many things they were doing. Then also the reasons understanding was not being given, and the sins they were committing, then a TON of scriptures opened up answering those questions. I got really freaked out one night when prayed to make sure i was not imaging this, then in less then 5 minutes I read this, Hosea 10:13 "you people have plowed wickedness. Uprighteousness is what you people have reaped. You have eaten the fruitage of deception, for you have trusted in your way, in the 'multitude' of your 'mighty ones'. An an uproar has arisen among you people, and your own fortified cities will be desolated. In the day of battle a mother will be dashed to pieces alongside her own sons. In this way one will certainly do to your people, o "bethel" because of your extreme badness". - perhaps that will encourage many to reread bible and look for answers with prayer. I was then and still am to this day, doing tons of reading, research, and notes, and each day more understanding. When talking to family, all of a sudden the responses and accusations, then seeing how identical things were happening to me as Jesus said would happen and his apostles. First time ever getting the persecutions was told would get when really trying to follow him. That's a very 'condensed' story.
If many were expecting the persecutions, bad things from elders, or being DFed, etc which got me to this, I went through a LOT of bad things from my childhood on, accusastions, treated bad by elders when was just my mom and sis, etc. Being completely innocent, yet treated bad and harshly, never any help, etc, things which would of made many have just left long ago. The most it did was further encourage and show me how the love has cooled off and to seek answers why I saw more love and kindness in those who don't know the truth then in the organization. Yet after finding all of this out, I did not just say okay it's all a bunch of nothing, I see good in it. I can understand and relate to many who gone through this, and it helped refine me. Now I am much more of a slave to Jehovah and Jesus, even though mentally free, if you look at Jesus and his apostles, they didn't enjoy a freedom of human pleasure. I know that all the sacrifices I am now making, are not worthly of the rewards from Jehovah, and it's the very least should be doing.

To the ex jws who have asked for a question or exact one. I was giving some advice, and the question is, why have so many after learning there is more to the 'truth' then taught, seem to just conclude that there is none, and lead a life that is very obviously against bible principles. (JW's didn't invent fornication, thats in the bible, etc)
I guess there are two kinds of Ex jws. The kind who after leaving believe there is no God or true religion, and want to tell as many as possible, so they can join in on the fun of being able to do 'bad/immoral' things. Then you have those who see things being done and taught against the bible, and out of a true godly fear/conscience leave or are DFed for making public that stuff. They are trying to serve God truthfully, and willing to go through much persecution if they see they may be sinning against him.
The whole purpose of my post was for the ex jws 1. You may find that God is real, and you can get a lot of truth from the bible still.
for the jws 2. So much focus is on the preaching aspect, that most have forgot or don't do any of the commandments of love. That many are very very guilty of judging and how dangerous that is. Finally that even the WT articles if you do research have said you can only get full understanding through Jehovah and Jesus, and you must read the bible, and you can get understanding of prophesy's from the bible itself and the spirit.
(I also don't want to appear elevating myself or judgemental, I am guilty of judging myself, guilty of almost everything, then I was praying sincerely for Godly wisdom, and things started to fall into place and change. I feel a lot like the Apostle Paul in the sense of how undeserved he was of getting anything from Jehovah and Jesus, but it proved the undeserved kindness.
Off to bed for me now. Again if any on this site have done a lot of study, and think they had revealed to them through God's word, the future events and his divine plan, let me know. Currently I can't find any true christian congregation like the early christians, but if others really on the truth, would be great to talk and compare notes as we are getting this great insight.

Male and Female temple prostitutes
by ssn587 inthe following verses make me wonder just how prevalent prostituion at the "temple" was in ancient times.. the verse in deut.
23: 17 about becoming temple prostitutes didn't they israelites have a tabernacle until solomon built the temple during his reign?.
deuteronomy 23:17 none of the daughters of israel may become temple prostitutes neither may anyone of the sons of israel become a temple prostitute.

I can answer your question, but you would not understand, nor would any, until they have already studied and gone through what I have. The bible is the beginning of the path, and part of the test. Your journey may lead you to ancient books, comparing ancient manuscripts, then other major religions and their holy books, or books which have not been put in the bible. Then Jehovah may give you an explanation and reveal part of his divine plan.
My research and what I'm going through, has taken me real far, and I'm still on that journey. Several bibles, the hebrew and greek text, where the new world translation came from, all the variations of bible and oldest scripts, the books of Jasher, Enoch, Jubilees, so called prophets, mayans, the muslims, etc.
Then if getting into the symbolic, the numbers, etc, you may see how there are two supernatural opposing forces at work. How perfect the puzzle pieces fit and could in no way be done by man alone. This journey has so far been about 4+ hours a DAY of intense bible reading and study for several months.
Then, all of a sudden, human desires and problems had been fighting my whole life, and fears, begin to melt away, and having a zeal for God never had in your whole life.
I can just tell you it's real, very real. I can't make it real to you, nor can anybody, nor anybody's answer, you need to be willing to seek it out yourself, and if it's really in your heart to find the truth, God will help you.
If you don't want to know it, if you want to block it out, if it's not in your heart, probably not. (unless he uses you like he did the apostle paul, showing his undeserved kindness)
