JW.org Kiosks whats up with these? Where did this idea come?
by Crazyguy inhas anyone seen these in their area.
they are kiosks, small buildings either inside an area of a larger building like a mall or outside by themselves maybe on a major street.
not sure whats all in them but from what i can gather there a bigger fancier version of the book shelf on wheels that is so popular now.

Those KIOSKS are going to be the new kingdomhalls of tomorrow. They will soon be installing turnstiles with a credit card/cash/atm scanner. People will be assigned a certain time to show up each week, insert their cash, then enter and sit down for a video presentation of the weekly meeting by a pious GB member. Then on the hour inbetween, the public can give their money to enter to meetings as well. They will be 24/7 KHs. Also they will have a closed curtained section where a person can enter M-F from 9 to 5 to have their very own live video conferenced judicial committee with 3 other elders. They pay about $25, then confess and the elders live from Bethhell can decide if they should be DFed. With new light however, the elders may get a direct insight that at that minute if they deposit an extra $100, they get away with a public reproof instead of DF.

When I was a kid it was 'the new system', then it was 'the new world', then it started getting linked to NWO(conspiracy stuff) and not sure what it is now. I heard before my time they called headquarters, 'mother'.

Watchtower judges man on size of nose.!!

Surely this is evidence that the WT and Rutherford (before a GB even come) was appointed by Christ and and lead by Holy Spirit I mean by Christ directly , well technically by angels and dead anointed since Rutherford claimed they passed the messages from Christ to the watchtower, meaning Ruterford himself directly, I mean by just angels themselves since he then said it's outrageous anybody would be so stupid to think a dead anointed was sending messages, I mean by holy spirit since the GB today claim there was always a GB and it's always been by holy spirit. WHY CAN'T YOU DOUBTERS GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK HEADS THAT THE GB IS APPOINTED AND YOU ARE ACTING LIKE KORAH FOR REJECTING THEM WHEN IT'S SO OBVIOUS!

A Brief History of Racism in Watchtower Publications
by cedars ini've just completed a lengthy article on the history of racism in the society's publications.
many people (including myself, until recently) aren't aware that the society's early publications were brimming with racist rhetoric, and this only calmed down as the public mood towards racism changed, most notably with the civil rights movement in the 50s/60s.. a few "headliners" from the article are:.
russell segregated blacks from whites for viewings of the photodramarussell believed that the skin of a black man would turn white during the millennial kingdomunder russell, the society's publications portrayed the black races as "degraded" and the white race as "superior"rutherford viewed the blacks as a "race of servants", and spoke of "sobering the southern negro" in an article against prohibitionunder rutherford, the golden age slammed uncle tom's cabin (a work that helped end slavery) as being "the work of satan"; the same article branded spaniards a "backwards race"rutherford accused "jewish business men" of "oppressing the peoples of many nations"in 1929 the golden age (acknowledged by the society as essentially the same magazine as the modern awake!

Not sure if it's been posted , but if I recall correctly, after Rutherford had tea and trinkets with Hitler, one of the articles or books he published was about how the shape of a persons nose tells about their personality (like the nazis did for jewish noses, etc) Anybody recall?

This religion is about to be toast.
by kneehighmiah inthe governing body is preparing to take a major hit.
this recent watchtower shows it.
not the new understandings, but the article on marriage.
-
EndofMysteries
The article should be titled, "marry only in the GB". Since the "Lord" means followers of Christ and the GB don't deem any other religion to be followers of Christ even though they themselves aren't followers of Christ either.

Some lyrics, "Welcome you who have come to hear Gods word and his way". If only they realized that they worship the GB as God. "Wecome you who have come to hear the GB's word and obey their commands".
Btw, how about some apostate flash mobs? Imagine like 100-200 at an assembly or district convention spreading the message of TTATT all at once during a session lol.

How is assembly / district cost figured out?
by EndofMysteries inwhen they annouce that a 1 day assembly cost $30,000, do they pull that number out of their hienie?
i'm sure somebody on this site had been part of the paperwork trail for that.
for a building that's paid off, do they really have that many expenses and add them all up and divide by weeks of the month or make up a high inflated number to send a big bonus to wt?.
