Are beards allowed yet for MS and Elders??
by EndofMysteries ini remember a little over 15 years ago, one of my first jobs at a grocery store, the manager was happy that they passed a new policy allowing them to grow a beard.
previously they were not allowed.
among the usa, i guess beards were considered not very professional still.

But beards are becoming very common in the USA so I wonder if that's soon to change. Or will they stay stuck on something even if 75% of men in USA come to have beards. -

I remember a little over 15 years ago, one of my first jobs at a grocery store, the manager was happy that they passed a new policy allowing them to grow a beard. Previously they were not allowed. Among the USA, I guess beards were considered not very professional still. Jesus and apostles had beards. The reason for not having them among JW's was because was looked down upon and maybe dirty or not clean, just based on the views of people in USA. Since beards are now becoming a major fad and so common everywhere, I wondered if they are allowing them for anybody yet? -

Start applying for government grants, scholarships, etc, get into college. It's hard to get by without having a degree these days. In state local community colleges can be very affordable to paying almost nothing if you get aid and scholarships, etc.

Geoffrey Jackson's Amnesia at the Royal Commission!
by The Searcher inat 20:00 - 21:30 in his testimony, mr. geoffrey jackson - in answer to mr. stewart's question about the governing body claiming to be god's spokespersons - claimed that it would be presumptuous of them to say that they were the only spokespersons which god was using.
mr. jackson doesn't seem to know what he and his fellow g.b.
members - and the providers of his lifestyle, the wtbts - actually teach as "bible truth.

Why are people burning their city to the ground in Baltimore? How doe Looting and Mob Violence Help?
by PokerPlayerPhil init's hard enough for businesses to enter these areas the government once had to offer up tax breaks to service them.
in watts, california it took decades for city residents to get a grocery store after the thugs burned their businesses to the ground.
you can see the insanity taking place, when you allow mobs and fools to burn building down nothing good comes from it.

Wow, these guys kidnapped a federal agent yet the one who was caught didn't resist arrest and is alive and one turned themself in. Good thing because even though they have huge records including previous charges for attempted murder, their lives really do matter to everybody and if they resisted arrest then either the police should lay down their life in sacrifice for these gentleman or else Florida would be burning down in riots! http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/08/16/four-florida-teens-accused-in-carjacking-kidnapping-federal-agent/ So thank these guys for not resisting arrest because their lives would matter if a white officer killed them, but the lives they have taken obviously don't matter. -

If you were told today you would die next week, would you be happy and fine with that?
by EndofMysteries ini don't know how so many who seem to be certain this life is it after being jw's seem to happily accept it and be fine with it.
i am living and trying to live as if this is it.
i want there to be a future life/afterlife, something, but i see how fast life comes and goes and even if i'm living it to the fullest, there is no peace for me with the thought this may be it.

So much will be left undone, it's going far too fast and each passing year seems to speed up. It feels to me as if somebody saying you are dying tomorrow or next week. -

check this story out and please share on social media!
i firmly believe 100% of jw's are suffering from the first stage of rts and a high percentage of people who are now out are also suffering.

Some physicists believe our universe is a giant hologram
by EndofMysteries ini wasn't entirely serious on older posts that our whole universe could technically be a computer simulation and this next thing isn't claiming that but it seems to nudge it closer to that possibility.
as taken from here http://www.vox.com/2015/6/29/8847863/holographic-principle-universe.
"the idea isn't that the universe is some sort of fake simulation out of the matrix, but rather that even though we appear to live in a three-dimensional universe, it might only have two dimensions.

"The idea isn't that the universe is some sort of fake simulation out of The Matrix, but rather that even though we appear to live in a three-dimensional universe, it might only have two dimensions. It's called the holographic principle.
The thinking goes like this: Some distant two-dimensional surface contains all the data needed to fully describe our world — and much like in a hologram, this data is projected to appear in three dimensions. Like the characters on a TV screen, we live on a flat surface that happens to look like it has depth.
It might sound absurd. But if when physicists assume it's true in their calculations, all sorts of big physics problems — such as the nature of black holes and the reconciling of gravity and quantum mechanics — become much simpler to solve. In short, the laws of physics seem to make more sense when written in two dimensions than in three.
There is more but that's a highlight of the article.
