Of course it is, and if a person is choosing that, they'll generally say, "We must wait on Jehovah", "Jehovah will clean it up or fix any wrongdoings by those in charge", etc. Then they'll say, "BUT, it's still Jehovah's organization and not our place to fix it and if we leave we lose his favor, etc, or let Satan win, etc".

No reasoning will work. I've tried reasoning how if it's his people, did he refrain from punishing ancient israelites when they went along w/ the bad things their kings instructed? Did God say, "You should of bowed to baal, because I put the king inside and you disobeyed"? Nope. Yet together JW think they get a free pass to not use their brain and if they are told to do bad and do it, they are fine because they did what they were 'told'.

DJS - What treatment exactly would need to be different with LGBT people than any other person in regards to treating them nice? LGBT is not the same as a Chinese or Japanese culture where they treat people differently and interact differently. LGBT people are no different than straight people in general every day interaction with others. So at that point then it seems a video about it would be preaching the lifestyle vs treat everybody nicely. I have some friends who are of the LGBT community and I interact with them identically as my straight friends.

Since the video isn't about treating everybody nice equally, then I agree he shouldn't have to watch it. Why a training video on LGBT people alone? Where is the video on how to treat Muslim, Christian, Trump supporters, Hillary Supporters, Illegal Immigrants, etc nicely? And how would they know who are LGBT people anyway? Is there a form to fill out before speaking to Social Security staff that asks where you like to stick it?

Update: Got my Judicial Committee cancelled

update: so, after the meeting i had with elders a few weeks ago as outlined in my original thread, they met as a body and once again called to tell me that after considering my case they still thought a judicial committee should be held against me and asked to be there "thursday at 7:30".

So my husband got a letter
by Lost his mind inso, he received a letter that i am wondering if it is one of those open letters that are out there to denote time given.
it starts out with the name of the person sending it, then goes into the spiel...do you know our god's name?
when i was shown what it is, i kind of got upset.
