Digging deep in this subject may make your brain feel like scrambled eggs with where it may take you.
Those who do not even believe in the bible, or God, you may find this can be a very fun project, like trying to solve a real conspircy mystery.
I have not been able to find anything on this anywhere, if anybody knows of a website, let me know. In the past 50-150 years the dead sea scrolls, book of enoch, secrets of enoch, book of jasper, book of jubilees, (if you read the parts of those books relating to 'preflood' times, they can clue you in and show how much of a significance what I am about to post 'could' be.
Titus 3:9 does say to avoid controversies and geneologys and 1 tim 1:3-4 also talks about them, not sure if they apply to what I'm about to mention or something else.
(Using online parellel bibles will further deepen questions out of this, as seeing some significant variations amongst them)
In Genesis, we have the geneology of Cain and of Seth.
I'll list them side by side, some bible versions have name different so putting both, take notice of this, then at the bottom I will explain what is going on.

Enoch - had great city named after him Enosh (during that period men starting calling on name of Jehovah/Lord)

and, while we're at it, what did you feel was the best technique/were the best techniques for 'awakening' jws to the problems/threats within the wtbts??.
i was initially awakened by the realization that the bible writers had no clue about how the earth really worked - which meant that their god had no clue, either.
when exodus 19: 16-19 was read in the kh, i realized (as a young child, 7 or 8 if i remember correctly...) that those bible verses were describing a volcanic eruption - and the isra-el-ites - and their 'god' - were totally clueless as to the true nature of that eruption and mountain.... that was my first eye-opener... then there was the fellow - a householder - who said to me when i was a cute kid at the door helping 'spread the word', "those people are using you!".
Or does anyone know around where he lives? City/state? There are many Raymond Franz's in the USA lol. He seems to be one who does believe in the bible and God and was trying to do the right thing, wondering what his current beliefs are.

Still one in the sense of going to meetings/etc, only because I'm waiting for Jehovah's direction on what he wants me to do. I know, and from myself too, that it is near impossible to flat out mention the falsehood, etc, to anyone. It's mentally blocked out as a trick, etc, and also the fear, that if listening to this, your going to be deserted and on your own. (that is true, in a sense)
I was awoken by the SCRIPTURES and by what I see going on in the congregation. For years I didn't see any falsehood being taught in scriptures, and took the history and abuse I saw going on as imperfect men. The part that awoke me up was after deep prayer, part of James 1:5 (i think, no time to look it up), about asking for Godly wisdom. Then in my reading I was all of a sudden coming across hundreds of scriptures showing what is going on today, the falsehoods being done, how angry, VERY ANGRY God is with what is being done in his name, and my first inclination was to get the heck out, (the flight when catching sight of the disgusting thing causing desolation), at the same time, ran into a bunch of scriptures about seeking the lost sheep, being sent in as sheep amondst wolves, remaining as you are when awakened, and also know that if I physically leave, would be impossible to help or talk to anyone, as none would listen at all. So at the moment as I'm leading God instruct me and learning the true truth, if he wants me to physically leave the organization, or remain in to try to help some there.

i know there are so many different viewpoints on this forum, it will be interesting for all to see them and what scriptures or reasoning they are based on.. some examples are,.
do you feel only one needs to have love, faith in jesus, and those basics and that is what you must proclaim.. do you feel true knowledge must be taught to all, and as much as is known.
Open question, please list scriptures that give you that direction or what you base your answer upon. I know there are so many different viewpoints on this forum, it will be interesting for all to see them and what scriptures or reasoning they are based on.

Do you feel only one needs to have love, faith in Jesus, and those basics and that is what you must proclaim.
Do you feel true knowledge must be taught to all, and as much as is known.
Do you feel only deep knowledge is only for those God chooses or seeks it out so they only need the bare basics.
Do you feel you must proclaim and broadcast lies being taught or your personally accountable.
Do you feel you must infiltrate organizations and try to help those oppressed by them.
Do you feel you must only develop your own relationship with God and do nothing else at the moment.
Do you feel you must go by what you feel internally and not use the bible at all?

Does it not seem odd that wording? Instead of just saying the Nebuchadnezzar layed seige for 13 years, the writer of the article specifically stops at the number 5, 7, 10, 12, and 13 to finally get to the point?
Thats like asking somebody how long was World War one, and you say, well 6 months pass and they were still at it, then 10 months, but it still kept going, so 1 year went on, 2 years, finally after 4 years it lasted 4 years.
Those numbers do match or are related in other aspects to the content there. I'm wondering if the articles writer was trying to secretly put a message in there. If he did I got it, but was it intentional or from something else?
