  ELDERS CAME KNOCKING AT MY DOOR

  so this is the situation..........haven't been to meeting for the past 10 months....misssed dc as well as 2 day assemblies.. i have woken up to the fact that the watchtower is not god's organization so their is absolutely no way iam going.

  to give the elders any of my time.

  i have no desire to agree to a sherherding call!.

  Tell them you aren't interested in their uninvited visits.

  As a matter of fact you think they're stalking you and you're going to seek legal counsel and put a restraining order against them.

  If they dare do any judicial action concerning this you and your lawyer are going to view it as retribution against saying NO to their uninvited and unwanted advances.

  If they even contact you one more time you're going to have your lawyer write Bethel and tell them to rein in their appointed men who are stalking and harassing you or else you'll include them in your lawsuit against them.

  it has been now verified that there was a traitor within the gb!.

  an insider had the courage and audacity to verify this, taking the risk of being kicked out of bethel, with a cross carved on his forehead.. it became apparent that all the men of the gb where naturally bald, even when some tried to hide it with a clever and stylistic comb-over.

  but there was some suspicion that pierce and losch were not true bald men.

  Well, on my behalf I'd say that I've been invited to an apostasy judicial committee and threatened legal action.

  Haven't heard back from the "elduhs" since.

  Haven't been to a meeting in a month although I promised my wife I'd take her to the Special Day and so I will.

  JWN/JWD discussions aren't 100% endearingly welcoming of people who are struggling with the cult we know and hate.

  There's a lot of hate-class folks and "grow a pair" types on here who would quickly tell you it ain't right to stay in a cult when you know "Da Troof!"

  But da troof is that each person has to live their own lives.

  For me, my wife's happiness is more important than telling the elders where to stick their mis-applied scripture references.

  why using a tablet at the platform during the meeting?

  i can't understand why the governing body aka fds has to deside about using a tablet by the speaker at the platform.. why using a tablet anyway at the platform?.

  thanks to my tablet I can read CoC and ISoCF and other titles on PDF during the meeting and also have the song book, NWTR2013, latest rags and study books. Very handy!

  they've changed it again.. this generation will not pass away14-16.

  what is a third reason for believing that gods kingdom will come soon?.

  So if Freddy died in 1992 then lets say a young anointed one of 18 years was alive, he would be 88 years old by 2070 and he would still be included in the the overlapping generations. That's almost 200 years since Russell and an American Civil War veteran would still be included in the overlap.

  ...since it evidently was not confirmed in advance that the agm was going to be exclusively about releasing the rnwt.. i mean, we all kinda sorta expected it, but no one had a "smoking gun", as it were, officially confirming it.. in contrast, there was the leak, posted on this forum, of the july 15 2013 watchtower, a week or 2 before its official posting on jw.org.. .

  i'm sure the rnwt was a well-guarded secret - on the other hand, there has been a rnwt translation committee in existence for 5+ years.

  absolutely no one in the "apostate community" even hinted at this committee's existence.

  I posted a picture from the 2012 District Convention with Guy Pierce holding one of the new bibles.

  Made several posts about the look and content of the new grey bible that I'd had in my hands back a year ago and that it was going to be released and that's why there weren't NWTs available in KHs.

  If folks here and on other forums don't want to believe these disclosures unless someone with more pull and reputation states them then that's their fault.

  It's like that commercial where someone says something and gets ignored then someone else says the same thing and makes a chopping motion with his hand then everyone agrees that's the correct decision. When the previous guy objects he's told that well, he didn't make the chopping with his hand. Preposterous, yes, but sometimes it feels just like that on these xJW forums.

  Since they're the biggest of bums, bumming off and scamming the R&F while living in luxury, they certainly know a "bum" when they see one, especially on Wednesdays when they sit across from each other and stare at their faces.

  So they badmouth their JW brothers and call out names because some are waking up to their chananigans. They're the real "bums" the real "mentally diseased".

  New Revised NWT Inspection Project

  anyone here interested in splitting up the new bible by books to compare it to the old one and see if there are any significant changes they are hiding in there that weren't announced at the annual meeting today?

  If the download can be gotten in PDF or EPUB format then with a little reformating through Calibre or another ebook editor app you can get a plain text to compare digitally for both editions. A good text editor would give you the ability to make a side by side comparison of changes between texts for each verse.
