  I too have been to New Mexico and through out all the South West, as a matter of fact. I've hiked in the desert. Not once did I see remains of dead indians, buckaroos, cows. Where's all the Southwest cattle drive evidence?

  I saw petrified wood. But no bones or remains of any kind. I'm sure things die in the desert, I just didn't see any of that. It's a big ol' desert, the Southwest.

  But like I said, there are remains of Semitic people living in Goshen for over a couple hundred years at least. The evidence is there, in the dirt.

  To this day there are hundreds of thousands of nomadic people trekking all over the Sinai wilderness, the Sahara desert and the Arabian desert. They've been doing this for countless generations. Can you excavate some existing camel poop, or maybe a tent pin, how about rug fibers?

Rohl identifies these Semites as the people upon whom the biblical tradition of the Israelite Sojourn in Egypt was subsequently based.

  Well if it's Brazil 1 and Argentina 1 and the clock is running out. Then...

  Don't worry, they'll go into overtime. (So maybe that's what's happening with the overlapping generations, it's overtime or what Geoffrey?)

  But tell this illustration to the thousands of JW kids who are counseled NOT to take part in school sports. And what about all the admonition that rooting for favorite sports teams is a form of idolatry?

  am3rd life story is in may 15th 2015 study wt.. after reading, he sounds very mental unstable.

  i know you guys will be saying "yeah, obviously he is"...but we don't have any concrete evidence saying he has a mental condition.. has anyone ever dug a little deeper, perhaps try to find some people who would have known him from the army?

  i mean, he probably doesn't know that many people, he was only serving for a year for christs sake.

  My last GB was John Barr. What a prick...he ran off the stage and hid back in admin, not wanting to talk to any jws.

  The Administration area was like a big celebrity's dressing room backstage.

  That's where the connected ones hung out. You needed special access and were given a card saying administration. For security reasons the cards weren't any longer put behind the convention badge so only the word Administration showed and most bigwigs just kept it in a pocket.

  I usually got to go in there for a morning or afternoon shift with the rooming dept. We'd call up Hotels and make sure things were going smoothly.

  There were a lot of perks, coffee, goodies, Bethelites from all over would show up there and you could spend most of the session chatting.

  The hierarchy definitely gets much preferential treatment in the Organization, just like any other worldly corporation.

  so ofs was at the wt this morning, and on par.

  14 the question was, "what trust can a faithful christian whose relative is disfellowshipped have?".

  after awhile when no one else raised their hands ofs did, and was called on.. ofs commented, "one of jw can have the trust that god will lovingly give them the ability to uphold the disfellowshipping arrangement by totally shunning family members.".

  what do i mean well when there was a famine in israel david inquired of jehovah, jehovah told him that the gibeonites were not being treated right so until david fixed the problem of how they were being treated jehovahs blessing was withheld from the nation jehovah does not change until we start treating people right by not shunning them and anouncing sinners names from platform as no longer jw jehovah will not bless the efforts of those promoting unloveing behavior

  so at the assembly to day that nitwit lett gave a talk....i noticed right away he had a pinky ring.

  i asked my wife what was the purpose of the pinky ring?

  Moreover I brazenly throw a fart @Nicolau's general direction for daring to give what I deem a most idiotic and inane word of counsel.

  Let's see how i piss her off tomorrow.

  Ask her if after this Convention she's still going to buy ice-cream or give the ice-cream money to buy the Lett dude a matching pinky ring for the other hand.

  Why should you antagonize your wife with negative comments about the WT? Because not to do it sets the line way back, and the more so, the stronger the WT's hold will be over your life, to cramp you into paralysis.

  She needs to know you love her but you hate the cult for the hypocrisy they show. Keep showing her love and affection for the person she is, not for the slave of the Gobbering Body she let's her selfbe.

  Keep reminding her every time there's such an obvious show of hypocrisy like wearing pinky rings but telling kids to hand over their ice-cream money.
