for years i've been screwed with by some very bad people, people satan would kick out of his organization because even the devil might let up on evil just to allow someone to catch their breath.

with the jwism's bad people move up while good people move down or leave the kingdom hall for good.

i was talking with two elders who said "you know if you return to the kingdom hall, jehovah will bless you and these people will stop screwing with you.

I hope you notice there's a lot of encouraging comments and a lot of wise words for you from many members of the forum. I second their good thoughts and urge you to not lose your cool and get good advice from your parents, they seem like they're awake to the nonsense of the WT religion.

Also, don't pay attention to the ney-sayers like this Wallsofjerk, I mean Jericho, he's sounding like he needs to grow a pair of real cojones. His overposturing seems like a sign of a latent inferiority complex. Just sayin'.

Whatever Happened to the Remnant?

back in the 50's, when i was just a skinny kid, my father became po of a new congregation.

he'd only been baptised for around 4 years, so his rise was quite remarkable.just one of his flock in the new cachement area was of the "remnant".

this lady was well into her 60's, childless but married.

Rutherfraud couldn't grow his business religion anymore so he had to change the rules.

So very true. And the GB 2.0 know it. They've displaced Russell, he's no longer FDS class, and it all starts with Rutherford "being chosen" along with his incarcerated buddies.

Maybe the future GB 3.0 will continue the charade and after 2034 it will all be moved to start in the 1970's with the GB 1.0. That will give them another overlapping.

JW ended a relationship with me

my jw boyfriend just ended a year and a half relationship with me.

it came out the blue and i'm deeply hurt by this because we were so compatible.

he did it right before the big annual gathering he is presently attending.

The best and worst thing you could do to this sleezo is call up the local KH during a Sunday morning and ask to speak to an elder about a very serious matter.

When you get an elder on the phone tell him it's regarding so-and-so, give the elder the name and ask if he's a member in that congregation and if not ask how you can contact an elder in his congregation.

When you get an elder of the right congregation you tell him that you'd been having a sexual relationship with this man and that you've found out you weren't the only one and you're upset about his selfish and opportunistic way of using women for sex and dumping them later.

Tell them you are well aware, as are others, that he is a JW and he's comporting himself in this way. Ask him to look into this and that you would like to follow up with this elder in two to four weeks time.

Bible Students Convention ......New Understanding of 607!!

The Bible Students General Convention in PA is very much like JW conventions, suited guys standing behind a podium talking iffy religious doctrine like it's God's pronouncement. The Dawn Bible Students are about as cultish as the WT, and yest, I'd even dare call them Russellites due to their insistence that somehow Russell was God's messenger.

Then you have the non-cultish Free Bible Students who don't believe the 607bce date teaching and rejected all the Russell pyramidology crap.

The Free Bible Students Conventions, held in Wenham MA, at Gordon College, are a much more informal affair, with lots of singing, and family focus, sessions for kids and break out / small group sessions where every one takes part. The Free Bible Students and Berean Bible Students broke away from Russell over a hundred years ago and have been holding these conventions all along once every year.

Band Green Day and JWs

a few years ago i heard of a story about two jw's being at a green day concert.

i think that the witnesses were bethelites.

the person that told me that story said that the band was about to play but they couldn't.

It's amazing how rumors spread and how many stars' names and ethnicities or groups are substituted, proving that there's little credence to it.

One pioneer in the congregation, now elderly and still pioneering, has been spreading this rumor for over thirty years, sometimes she adds a few embellishments that contradict her story and when you remind her of what she said before she gets really serious and says "Well, that's the way I've heard it happened!"

Pioneer school in 1000 words

this strange photo is from a pioneer school graduating class in russia.. they're hiding their faces because, supposedly they don't want to be identified as jw's and run the risk of persecution.. the picture is very telling.

this very well illustrates how the pioneer school aims to make everyone into faceless drones whose minds are copies of wt indoctrinated automatons and not really individuals.. another thing i noticed when looking at the photo is that some aren't following the instructions to obscure their faces--some peek their eyes above the illuminators textbook and one is quite clearly exposing his profile as if he was talking to his neighbor in mid-shutter instant.. third, it's in russia, and the jw's aren't too welcome there.

communist oligarchs were quite acquainted with indoctrination and brain-washing techniques, they didn't like competition.

It's interesting how societies that are mentally controlling like countries with Communist, Fascist dictatiorships, there is little tolerance for high-control religions/cults, They don't want competition for people's minds!
