  Mystery of the ' Strange Couple '

  this strange couple was seen on main st. in vancouver, b.c.

  a casual observer would be hard pressed to figure out their relationship.

  the man seems a little young for the woman.

  Gay times at Brooklyn Bethel

  leo greenlees and percy chapman have been exposed as practicing a gay lifestyle while serving at the world head quarters of the watchtower religion.. in this photo greenlees is at the left with glen how to his right and then nathan knorr who has chapman to his right.

  i've seen this photo before many times.

  it's in jim pentons book, but i never noticed greenlees left hand is holding how's right at his bottocks.. quite the gay times at bethel i'd say.. .

  I meant Percy Chapman's hand on Knorr's butt cheeks. I knew there was some arse grabbing in that picture!

  Knorr seems quite happy and smiley. But the guy in the background dressed in black is very disapproving of Chapman's fingers up Knorr's cracker.

  june 1915 was the first full month wherein watchtower readers could obtain and read a new publication that had just become available out of brooklyn in the previous month.

  here's how it was announced in the may 1, 1915 watchtower, known then as, zion's watch tower, emphasis ours:.

  Whoa! I was at a return visit with this Mormon couple and the young man quoted me a story of a British soldier in the trenches. The call to charge the enemy lines came. The Brit was in no-mans land among all the ruckus and as the enemy was routed and the noise of battle quieted down, he heard the whistling of a mormon hymn, thinking one of his fellows was still in no-man's land made him think that he might be wounded and could be a mormon too.

  So he went farther away from the trench and on his belly made his way to a bomb crater where the whistling was coming from. To his surprise the fellow was an enemy soldier who'd been bayoneted but still alive though bleeding and probably whistling to distract his mind from the pain of his injury.

  When the enemy soldier saw him appear his face contorted in horror thinking he was probably going to be wounded again and this time for good. But then the British soldier started singing in a soft voice the words of the song, then whistling the tune of that same hymn. The enemy soldier in realization that he was face to face with a fellow mormon, looked up to the heavens, and slumped back with a big sigh.

  Knowing that the enemy soldier was probably near dying from the injury and blood loss, the British soldier took action and grabbing him by the collar of his coat pulled him behind himself as he crawled back to the safety of his trench.

  He saw to it that the enemy was seen by a medic right away and was gurney'd off to a prisoners of war hospital.

  My call recounted this story as proof that God had a hand in bringing these two mormons on opposite sides of the war together to save a life.

  I guess this doesn't happen with Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox or atheist soldiers, only among cults, which is quite interesting.

  safe to say, if you walked up to any of the 8 million jehovah's witnesses on earth today and told them the.

  governing body was a fiction, not only would they refuse to believe you--they'd consider you their immediate enemy!.

  Thanks Terry. excellent write up. It was easy to follow and exposes the constant changes in doctrine that boggle the mind.

  It's easy to see how manipulative the WT is from it's early years and growing ever more so as the organization got bigger.

  It's interesting to consider how Mt 25:45 has been abused since the days of Russell. All to establish themselves as having divine appointment to lead, and placing themselves in the role of an intermediary between God and humankind.

  What a bunch of lousy con artists they are.

  It's freaky! Similar blue backgrounds, and circular news anchor desk--and notice the two monitors in the $cientology counter, there's the image of a revolving world--It's really weird that the 700 Club and the WT all have this similar setup and decor.
