  i am shocked that an expert would simply examine only the literature given to her by the organisation she was defending and simply accept it.

  also the ease she has in making huge sweeping statements when comparing the jw's to all other international religious organisations simply undermines her professionalism.. i am also thoroughly shocked at her blatant, 'expert for hire', 'will defend anyone' apparent decision making, the organisation is responsible for covering up thousands of abuse victims by its own records, in australia alone!

  never mind their judicial process being heartless and traumatic!.

  Let me get this straight...She (a catholic, worldly woman) has had access to the elder's book and other confidential material.

  I wonder if the WT gave the Doctor a copy of the letter stating that women could not even photocopy the flock book nor be able to have access to it in any way. I'd be tempted to send her a printed copy to her office.

  No, she's considered an expert due to her involvement in many cases involving sexual abuse and providing services to many institutions on what lead to abuse and what steps to implement in their procedures to prevent those situations from happening.

  The WT lawyer definitely made a big hole for himself and the WT by saying that the procedures in the elder's handbook are not always followed because there's other updates and guidance provided. Now he's been asked to provide the written guidelines that add to the Shepherd the Flock book.

  That probably means all the side notes to the book, which don't appear in letters or articles. That would be interesting.

  The WT lawyer just mumbles and it's so hard to follow him. But the Doctor doesn't seem to have problems understanding his questioning unlike how she was constantly asking for rephrasing and clarifications from Mr. Stewart.

  And who keeps coughing so hard that it comes through the mics and you can't even here what's being discussed. Can't the person excuse themselves and get a drink of water or something, man, that is so annoying!

  Dr. Applewhite asks Mr. Stewart to explain what he means by "raise flashing lights". She's spends her time reading JWdotOrg so much that she can't keep up with the English vernacular. Did she not understand "perfect storm" either?

  Well, Dr. Applewhite just asked for a short break after getting shown up. Maybe she's wondering how she ever decided to help the Watchtower with her report. Now the WT's lawyer is going to try and save what's left.

  this may have been discussed before, but this article just now popped up in my online search for "jw news": .

  man at jehovah's witness facility died of natural causes.

  does it not seem really, really strange that he would not have been missed all day saturday and sunday?

  Sign language, eh? Maybe nobody could "hear" him.
  

  The building in Palm Coast is quite large, it was the site of the FAA offices and a Management / Leadership training center. It's very near the ocean. They must have paid quite a pretty penny for it. No wonder Lett said a "translation" center costs millions. They bought a whole prime property complex near the ocean! I'm sure they're happy they're not paying taxes on that.

  Dr. Applewhite admitted she had a full load of other cases when she wrote to the Commission and her writing wasn't as correct as she'd like it to be.

  Two or three times Mr. Stewart has brought out she gave references that were wrong and asked her what the actual reference was. How can she be considered an "expert" if she gives wrong references repeatedly?

  And as brought out in other comments here, she's had several times where she tried avoiding answering what Mr. Stewart was plainly asking her, constantly requesting he rephrase the question, then she answers with a question to him "how do you see it"?
  

  As of this lunch break she's definitely assured the commission that her report is rubbish and her "expert" conclusions are wrong.

  hey yall, this may have been touched on before, but i here a lot about the lies wt has told on this website.

  so what are some of the bold outright lies the borg has told, past and present and can you prove it.

  for example, at this district assembly they released a video that showed (the trailer) if you married an unbeliever your marriage is not going to work.

  I just went to the funeral, not too long ago, of a man 89 years old, married for longer than I've been alive, he never got baptized nor did he ever study with JW's. He was a navy veteran who liked to talk of his war days, and he had quite a few stories to tell, and the knack to keep you on the verge of your seat listening to him.

  His wife was a baptized 20 year old who married him when marrying an unbeliever wasn't such a sin by JW standards. She's now elderly, her elder son still lives at his parent's home with his wife because he's too busy to hold down a real job. So his wife reg pioneers and he only works part-time.

  The father was one of the nicest most tolerant men I've ever met. He was for equal rights even in the 50's, giving african-americans good paying jobs in the factory where he rose up through the ladder to become a manager. When he had his funeral/memorial, (the talk given by a local elder who never even visited the guy's house), the crowd was standing room only and they were spilling over outside the KH.

  To me this man represents the kind of non-believing, yet wonderful human being who stood for what he believed to be moral and good, and who devoted his life to provide for his family and help out those who needed help. I'm glad to have known him for the better part of three decades, and in that time not one JW, not one elder, pioneer or overseer I've ever met could half measure up to him.

  Being appointed by the WT, being baptized to the devotion of the JW Organization's, means diddly squat. Anthony Morris the Turd would really have learned what a "real man" is from this un-believing mate!
