wow the artcle love your neghboor the writer is trying to squeeze thorough what he feels is a loophole.

the problem is there is no loophole in gods law of love its amazing but eventually they will come to the realization that all people need love.

keep trying to skirt around it your digging yourself into a hole.

The WT likes to tickle their sheeple's ears and assure them that yes is no and no is yes. They don't have to act Christian, just keep doing what we tell you to do, obey, obey, obey us.

The sheeple like to be told that they have no responsibility to have love of neighbor as long as they are involved in gaining new victims for the WT to feed on--feeding on peoples energy and work, their money, their futures.

These GB following drones like to be told what to do because then they don't have to listen to their consciences nagging them to act like Christians are supposed to if they truly follow the Christ, and "imitate Jesus".

The GB and WT hierarchy provides the false peace of mind and ease of conscience, but at the price of a persons very soul and life. They are spiritualistic vampires sucking the life out of those who fall into their mind trap.

JW EXPERT WITNESS FLOORED BY COMMISSION OF INQUIRY LAWYER

much has already been written about dr monica applewhite, the expert witness hired by the jw organization.

her job was to provide "expert" testimony to the australian commission of inquiry into jehovsh's witnesses' policies and practices on child sexual abuse.

astonishingly, dr applewhite was unprepared for the inquiry lawyers' questions.

The WT lawyer wanted her to do another report saying how JW's are way ahead of other religious organizations in having in place written guidelines on how to proceed with cases of sexual abuse.

The WT lawyer, also, kept offering the commission, that they would in essence hire her for as much time as needed if she could fit them into her schedule.

McLelland said this is not a contest of who is better. But to find what procedures are not good and what is done right. If that's what her report is then it would be useful, but a report to measure one against another religious organization would be a waste of time.

So the WT lawyer says he understand, and yes your honor, and then says the same thing and offer the same thing. So McLelland has to repeat himself, must have had to say it to the lawyer three times.

The WT wants to be compared because they think that having written guidelines gives them the high moral ground. But what they fail to realize is that the Commission does not find fault with religious institutions not having resources to investigate such cases and who turn to the secular authorities and let them investigate the truth of the matter, that's what those institutions are there for.

It all boils down to the fact that the WT doesn't want to have secular authorities overseeing them and exposing their cultish controlling ways, they think they are above the law. And this fact will exposed them for the harmful religious cult that they are.

World court of human rights

while australia is dealing with this pedaphile protection policy that the wt seems to have, how awesome would it be if the world court of human rights was to look into it as well, seeing how the wt is a global organization.

I think you're right. It definitely falls under human rights. 1000+ pedophile offenders not reported to authorities. That's an important finding, and with all the information that shows the WT's policies add insult to injury in such cases I would think other governmental agencies would get a heads up and start looking into things themselves.

Maybe having some letter writing campaign to these agencies like the World Court would help expose the WT and it's policies.

i am shocked that an expert would simply examine only the literature given to her by the organisation she was defending and simply accept it.

also the ease she has in making huge sweeping statements when comparing the jw's to all other international religious organisations simply undermines her professionalism.. i am also thoroughly shocked at her blatant, 'expert for hire', 'will defend anyone' apparent decision making, the organisation is responsible for covering up thousands of abuse victims by its own records, in australia alone!

never mind their judicial process being heartless and traumatic!.

Let me get this straight...She (a catholic, worldly woman) has had access to the elder's book and other confidential material.

I wonder if the WT gave the Doctor a copy of the letter stating that women could not even photocopy the flock book nor be able to have access to it in any way. I'd be tempted to send her a printed copy to her office.

No, she's considered an expert due to her involvement in many cases involving sexual abuse and providing services to many institutions on what lead to abuse and what steps to implement in their procedures to prevent those situations from happening.

The WT lawyer definitely made a big hole for himself and the WT by saying that the procedures in the elder's handbook are not always followed because there's other updates and guidance provided. Now he's been asked to provide the written guidelines that add to the Shepherd the Flock book.

That probably means all the side notes to the book, which don't appear in letters or articles. That would be interesting.

The WT lawyer just mumbles and it's so hard to follow him. But the Doctor doesn't seem to have problems understanding his questioning unlike how she was constantly asking for rephrasing and clarifications from Mr. Stewart.

And who keeps coughing so hard that it comes through the mics and you can't even here what's being discussed. Can't the person excuse themselves and get a drink of water or something, man, that is so annoying!
