  a jobo i know has cancer.

  her son goes and cleans her house and generally cares for her.

  so does another non-jobo relative.. the congregation, interestingly, has shown very little support apart from the odd one rabbiting on about 'bible promises this and that'.. so, the co visited and said, 'but your son is an apostate(tm).

  Field service shit show

  i just got back from field service.

  i haven’t been out in a few months so now we don’t keep any written records and we don’t know which houses are do not calls.

  i also noticed i was the only one with a book bag.

  the wt is at it again it seems.

  playing dirty as it can, trying to silence dissenters.. the john cedars channel on youtube has been taken down after the posting of a video critique of regional (district) convention leaked videos.. sounds like something putin would do in russia.

  you know what they say, birds of a feather fly together--what a murder of crows all of'em!.

  And now... for something completely different...
  

  Today in one of his videos Lloyd (aka John Cedars) of the John Cedars YouTube channel and JWSurvey lost it on youtube chat ranting and raving against one of his viewers, someone by the name of iLVi.

  Several other viewers were telling him how over the top he was getting and to chill out, but to no avail he just went on and on about it, calling the other guy a troll. And it was all about his studpid leaning shelf in the background.
  

  It seems that Lloyd doesn't put up with humor from anyone, he can dish it out but he can't take it and if you cross him he'll call you a troll and make up things about you. Whatta guy!
  

  Is his YouTube fame getting to his head? Is he like one of those celebrity prima donnas who think themselves above everybody else and are free to throw tantrums when they feel like it over any little thing?
  

  He has deleted the long exchange and blocked some people, isn't that a bit of hiding written history and shunning? Following in Watchtower footprints. Delete written proof and shun the ney-sayers. How very Watchtocratic.
  

  What goes around comes around. I like his videos and all, but his temperament seems a bit precarious and his rise to ex-JW fame seems to have gone to his head in a big way. He likes interviewing the pretty ladies but he'll alpha male anyone he considers a loser not worth his attention. He fans himself a film maker but don't dare talk about his leaning shelf or he'll bust a vein and he'll block you.
  

  Anyway, just reporting on todays goings on at the John Cedars channel, and if you want to watch his latest video where he blew his top in the chat about his leaning bookshelf in the background is at:

  elders wont pray for someone?

  a former member said that elders told a relative of his after she was dfed that they would not be praying for her.

  is that some kind of policy, or were they just doing their own thing in that instance?

  Wedding Rings.

  we have long queried why so-called things of pagan or religious origin like christmas or easter are banned by the wts but the use of wedding rings were not.. i was talking about this with a friend who follows a wiccan path of belief and he has sent me the following information from one of his magic magazines.. quote: .

  " why do we wear our wedding ring on our ‘ring finger’ ?

  thus, to properly activate the ring finger we need to wear a golden ring on it.
