  another reason pandemic benefits org

  i've already posted in an earlier thread how the pandemic benefits the org in that it presents it an excuse to go completely electronic and sell all buildings (if that's what it wants).

  however, there is another way the pandemic benefits the org; it presents it an excuse for declining numbers.. many of us have wondered just how much of a downturn there's been in jw land in recent years.

  we've wondered whether the org was playing with the numbers to make the situation appear better than it was.

  I'm not into conspiracy theories, but Google FEMA clergy response team. Would WT. throw the R&F under the bus to save it's own skin

  correct me if i'm wrong but about the same time this was activated was when the wt.

  came out with the "we may receive instructions that may not seem practical from a human standpoint".

  and it has been emphasized greatly regarding covid measures that "we must obey the superior authorities".

  I don't get it - Marriage in WT world

  in wt world, a marriage is only seen (considered) as legal if it is registered in the municipality (or similar governmental organisation).

  now, if you look at the scriptures, there was no requirement to have a marriage legally registered in order to be considered married.

  is it not strange that the wt subjects themselves to and adopts an worldly arrangement setup but governments rules by satan when it comes to a marital status?.

  Worldwide Campaign Nov 2020

  thanks petra and atlantis for sending the latest letter regarding the watchtowers plan for a worldwide campaign in november this year.

  i am wondering what they are planning to achieve from this campaign, particularly their focus on sending the watchtower 2020 no.

  2, titled "what is god's kingdom" to politicians, governments (and tribal leaders) around the world.. it would appear that this is their answer to governments who have put them in the spot light for their bad policies, particularly their handling of child abuse.

  yeah some links to an old Google Drive are dead, not a good idea to link to a google drive if you want a permanent link but the archive.org site has a tonne of old WT publications let the reader use discernment

  Purple Triangle

  has anyone noticed that the colour purple comes from mixing red and blue, and that the red triangle meant political prisioner and the blue triangle meant foreigner?

  purple also comes from mixing pink and blue, foreign homosexual or sexual offender.

  aWhaaaaaasa! Bizarre is definitelly the word for this. But lookee here...

  Purple was expensive to make, therefore it was associated with the rich and royalty, so to mock Jesus as King of the Jews, they put a purple mantle on him, this led to it being associated with the followers of Jesus, the Bibelforscher/JWs were put in camps because they saw Jesus as their only king not the Fuehrer Hitler not any man and preached the Kingdom so their distinctive patch in the concentrstion camps was purple, easy peasy, no need for what sound like multichromatic LSD inspired explanations.

  I think Atlantis received a 2020 letter pertaining to regular pioneers, but it is in Portuguese, so I am not sure what it says. If someone who speaks Portuguese wants the letter, I'll send a link to them and maybe they could clue us in on what it says.

  BOE Update! (as of 2020-07-31)

  body of elder letters, announcements, and so forth will be next to "none" unless more elders decide to contact us and help out.. atlantis has lost three elders in the past two years.

  two elders were disfellowshipped, and one disassociated and walk away a month ago.. when this happens receiving confidential documents is severed.

  the last announcement we received was 2020-07-23. i was not about to send out a childish letter on "mold" in the kingdom halls.. there are people out there out of work and concerned about what they will eat tomorrow, and the watchtower is concerned with mold!.

  Thanks Petra and Atlantis for all the work you have done! I was PIMO as an elder for a few years until I could no longer hold my tongue but that was way before all this electronic stuff. There will be others, the resistance will continue.
