The touchdown where the Saint just barely managed
to contort his body to score inside the endzone
was amazing to see in slow motion, in replay!
Almost thought it would be tied, but then the Colts gave it over.
saints win.

Very gutsy plays, the Saints team took lots of risks, and enjoyed their rewards.
watchtower will move world headquarters to warwick.
warwick - if all goes according to plan, jehovahs witnesses will relocate their world headquarters from brooklyn to warwick.. .
at its regular meeting on nov. 19, the warwick town board announced the plans by the religious group.. the visual impact of the religious denominations plans to refurbish the former international nickel company property off long meadow road stand as the primary concern residents want addressed in any environmental impact statement.. .
The plan to move out of Brooklyn is a reaction to 911.
Do you agree? What else could motivate their move to the burbs?
invited him to tour its other New York campuses in Patterson and Shawangunk
Patterson I know. But where in the world is Shawangunk, is that Wallkill?
has anybody else ever experienced this?
when you get into a bit of trouble in the congregation or have certain questions/doubts over teachings and they want to study with you all over again?
you could have been a witness your whole life, know the bible teach/live forever/knowledge book front to back, even have studied with others and brought them into the religion - and the elder sitting across from you wants to know if a bible study would help you.
As Highdose said earlier in the thread: It's part of the mental conditioning.
If an elder studies with you they are certain to know you've been reprogrammed.
If you fail to reprogram you're out.

Watchtower will move world headquarters to Warwick
Warwick - If all goes according to plan, Jehovah’s Witnesses will relocate their world headquarters from Brooklyn to Warwick.
At its regular meeting on Nov. 19, the Warwick Town Board announced the plans by the religious group.
The visual impact of the religious denomination’s plans to refurbish the former International Nickel Company property off Long Meadow Road stand as the primary concern residents want addressed in any environmental impact statement.
The plans for the new headquarters that are before the town’s Planning Board call for almost 90 percent of the 257 acre site to remain in its natural condition. The site consists of approximately 195 acres of forest, 37 acres of wetlands and Blue Lake, and almost 14 acres of roads, buildings and landscaping.
The plans include specifications to meet the Green Building Initiative’s three “Green Globes” standard, a building rating system used in the U.S. and Canada. The proposed Watchtower redevelopment site has been vacant since the mid 1990’s. Two other tax-exempt entities - Kings College and later Touro College - each abandoned plans to redevelop the site.
Supervisor Michael Sweeton said attorneys for Jehovah’s Witnesses invited him to tour its other New York campuses in Patterson and Shawangunk to demonstrate “what they do, what their campuses look like and how they fit into the community.”
The project has received a positive declaration under the State Environmental Quality Review, meaning the town is required to “identify and mitigate the significant environmental impacts” before approving the plans. Sweeton said the proposed campus seems like a good fit for the site and he is “pleased so little land would be disturbed.” The site sits in the Tuxedo School District, which had concerns about children on the campus; however, Sweeton said according to the religious order it only permits members without children to work and live on campus. Members with children would have to leave the site and settle in the community where their children would attend school.
If the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society proposal goes through, it will have a minimal carbon footprint, says Sweeton, and “use all kinds of recycled materials with a vast amount of open space to remain.”
He also said members visiting the campus will stay in bed and breakfasts and hotels, eat in restaurants and shop, bringing tourism dollars with them.
a few months ago there was a thread about a couple of elders at the mill hill bethel being disfellowshipped because they disagreed with some wt doctrine (i can't recall exactly what it was) and that several other betheliteswere under 'investigation'.
i haven't heard anything since, does anyone know anything more about this?.
borghater xx.
If you get a chance Paul, I'd be interested in learning about your Judicial
Committee meeting and how things went. I listened to Ed Dunlap's tape
online and it was very heart wrenching to hear how a brother could be
treated in such an un-Christian manner. I forget which website it was that
I found it on once I started reading Crisis of Conscience and searching the
internet for more information.
"i believe in one god, and no more; and i hope for happiness beyond this life.
i believe the equality of man, and i believe that religious duties consist in doing justice, loving mercy, and endeavoring to make our fellow-creatures happy.
but, lest it should be supposed that i believe many other things in addition to these, i shall, in the progress of this work, declare the things i do not believe, and my reasons for not believing them.
Thanks TruthSeeker for the well thought out, well worded article for this thread.
i received this crap from my jw mom today.
i hope it doesn't "encourage" you to go back .
you see, when i left, i immediately felt the relief of not being burned all the time by all of the gossip that occurs within the congregations, circuits, etc.
Sooo, could it be that the person in question didn't realize what the elder
was doing playing with the embers and only needed someone to be there
for companionship? If the elder really meant to use his little illustration
he would have made application of it I'm sure otherwise he'd run the risk
that the message would be lost. It sounds so much like a made up story.
one thing that truly bothers me is that the religion forces you to accept an understanding they have expressed.
they might very well change their view and you simply have to accept the newest view or you are the bad guy!
the generation understanding has changed so much since its inception, how could any witness possibly be 100% sure that what they're told to believe in is "the truth"??.
I hate the fact that they've stolen some of the best years of people's lives
under a religious pretense in order to increase their publishing company's
wealth and corporate holdings.
from jw.org, here is the new definition of the generation from the april 15, 2010 watchtower.. .
article: holy spirits role in the outworking of jehovahs purpose.
13 third, holy spirit is at work in bringing bible.
Oh the fatigue of ever changing pronouncements and erroneous interpretations, how long must this go on!
