I posted a rant against the meme on my facebook page. Then posted replies with the photos of Chilean KH's displaying flags and how this is ok with the GB and the Chilean branch. And finished it off with a half dozen photos of JW.0rg flags on display and with silly Witnesses waving them. I think I made my point clear. The JW religion is filled with hypocrites from the top down, bunch of pharisees! -

I see a true telenovela developing. And I agree it's uncanny how some of these personality descriptions match some elders I've known. (Sadly I may have played the part of the Court-fool in my time : -))) -

Happy Veterans Day! (America)
by freemindfade inpeople have varied and strong feelings about politics and wars, but you can't deny the courage a sacrifice of our veterans.
too often they do not get the honor they deserve.
in this country once they come home their sacrifice and heroism is too quickly forgotten.

To all vets on this forum, thank you for your service and sacrifice for fellow countrymen, friends and families. -

I can understand if someone really dislikes something you've done so much they want no association with you.
But for an 0rganization to demand that one's friends and family treat the person they have marked as an outcast, a living-dead not worthy of acknowledgement or social courtesies, or worse a pariah and dis-owned family member, that indeed is barbaric, and it is shameful for this JW 0rganization/WT Society to inflict this suffering on people especially so those who do not want to be members of it anymore due to conscience, and are awake to the lies and harmful practices of this real-estate and money greedy grabbing religious cult.

Tight pants, colored socks, blue shirts, beards, wire -rimmed glasses...
by Muddy Waters intight pants, colored socks, blue shirts, beards, wire -rimmed glasses... .
does anybody remember any thing else that was once or still is proscribed against faithful j-dubs?
when brothers in our kh started wearing different colored shirts rather than white, it caused a great stir and ruckus.

I had a young elder (a bit of an oxymoron, and he is too) tell me that there wasn't ever any rule against wearing colored shirts on stage. He's born in. He's cocky. He's a bit of an... as much as I respect other's opinions and points of view, it really ticks me off when someone tells me I'm wrong and I know better.
There was too a rule. It was unwritten. There was a large white shirt and a dark blue tie kept in the coat room. You were told as an MS that if you wore ostentatious shirts that would be distracting you'd have to wear the white one no matter how baggy, or tight and badly it fit, or go home and change. That was the rule.
And this young... idiosyncratic elder likes to wear fire engine red shirts with gold ties, and royal blue shirts with lime green ties, and deep purple shirts with white ties, and nobody says a word to him nowadays. Right. There was never a written rule but you wouldn't have gotten away with your colorful sense of style, young whipper-snapper!

CO Comes Up With A New Way To Be Judgemental...
by JW_Rogue inat the latest co visit something very strange happened.
during the meeting with the elders and servants he passed out a copy of a hypothetical publisher card and asked us what we could learn from it.
upon receiving it i saw that the average hours were pretty good, it had return visits and quite a few bible studies.

It's actually quite easy to place mags and count them in your monthly report.
1. Place them in the rubbish bin.
2. remember to count how many and write the number on your time slip.
The real problem with the hypothetical publisher is that he was way too accurate an account on his service record.
