Economic Recovery after COVID-19
by Simon init feels like we've really turned a corner, this morning especially.. the covid lockdowns are ending and medical systems were not overwhelmed plus there are existing treatments that have been proven to be effective (like hydroxychloroquine) and new vaccines and medicines in the pipeline.
a week or so ago the dems were dead against opening things up but since they are encouraging protests (which often turn violent) they can't continue that stance - thus proving trumps claim that it will soon be gone.
the majority of the deaths were politician-assisted (which i hope people are prosecuted for) so it's not the big risk we were led to believe and (over) reacted to.. the bls reported this morning that the us economy just added a huge number of jobs (most on record) and will undoubtedly benefit even more from a drive to source local production and supply chains going forwards.

Repercussions for sexual immorality

i became involved with a co-worker a few years ago, she was fairly aggressive and she initiated a physical relationship very quickly.
at the time i did not know she was married and a jw.

Do Jw's Dress up in meeting clothes for Zoom meetings?

such emphasis on dressing in a godly manner over the decades, would be interesting if some attend in pajamas or their work clothes, no makeup, etc....

"about the 13th century the term “jehovah” appeared when christian scholars took the consonants of “yahweh” and pronounced it with the vowels of “adonai.” this resulted in the sound “yahowah,” which has a latinized spelling of “jehovah.” the first recorded use of this spelling was made by a spanish dominican monk, raymundus martini, in 1270.. interestingly, this fact is admitted in much jehovah’s witness literature, such as their aid to bible understanding (p. 885).

Jehovah is an adequate transliteration of the divine name into English.
Just like Elijah is correct.
Just like Jeremiah is correct.
Just like Joshua/Jehoshua is correct.
Just like Judah/Jehudah is correct.
As a matter of fact there is only one letter difference between Judah's name and the tetragram.
YHWDH is Judah which was pronounced according to its letters like YeHooDaH, and if you take that D out, you are left with the tetragram which should be pronounced then like Ye-Hoo-aH according to its Hebrew letters..
Write it as it would sound in Latin letters and you end up with Iehovah, since the letter I was like our English Y, and the V was like a W or OO sound.
In English spelling this became traditionally spelled with a J like so many other Bible names.

Now the WT has acquired Zoom accounts with disaster relief funds to give out to elders for meetings. And I wonder how much this is reaching for more control of the sheeples? Since they own the accounts they have access to the video recording files and chat transcripts.
