  Proud Parent - My son just got accepted to the University of Maryland!

  he has persevered through 2 years of community college.

  three of those semesters were at home because covid19 shut in person classes.

  Aussie covid situation I got vaccinated anyone else?

  record 747,000 new cases yesterday but in australia we have no new infections except people flying into quarantine from other countries.

  we are 116th with 29,000 confirmed cases.

  i work in a hospital so received astra zenica vaccine 2 weeks ago with no bad symptoms.

  what is the wt doing these days if someone das but threatens to sue if the elders make an announcement that leads to shunning?.

  i know the elders are supposed to notify the legal department, but what is the legal department telling them to do?.

  here the arch bishop of canterbury's dean shows jw broadcast how it's done.....or rather his cat does!

  no hate speech, no lying, no over-done, fake news caster-y backdrop.and most of all no genocidal threats!.

  Do You Get Easily Offended By What People Do or Don’t Do?

  does using uncle ben’s food products offend you?.

  are you offended if you see a flag?

  what about a confederate flag?.

  I don't get easily upset about what ignorant people do or say.

  But concerning the Confederate flag it's just one of those facepalm moments.

  Confederate flags are like Nazi flags, they're symbols of politically charged statements.

  Not recognizing what these symbols mean to the people who originally made them is the problem.

  If you refuse to educate yourself about something you end up sounding ignorant in front of others.

  Why do fanatical religionists from Iran, AlQaeda and Daesh like to burn the US flag? Because it has meaning for them. Flags have meaning. Symbols have meaning. I'd proudly wave The Ol'Stars and Stripes in their face to irritate the crap out of any Muslim fanatic!

  To wave the Confederate Battle flag or the Nazi flag in front of me is an irritation to me because of the meaning these symbols convey.

  People who wave the Confederate, Nazi or Daesh flag are all fanatical hateful people in my opinion.

  this site was instrumental to my waking up.

  i have been able to use it to direct others to as well since it had a large collection of matters dealing with the validity of the "gentile times" claim.

  it seems that g. jackson got confused during his presentation relating to jesus and his going to magadan.

  ( check out lloyd evans "magadangate") but the jw community seems very hesitant and quiet on this apparent "faux pas".

  has anyone had any feedback from jw's that you know on this or are they just sweeping it under the carpet as being nothing of particular note?.

  for those who want to see how bad it really is, 2 thoughts: .

  1) the article says "jehovah" gave gifts in men, but the bible in gal: 6 clearly mentions the one who ascended into heaven as the one, jesus, their reigning king, that does provides these " the captives.. of course when wt writers say jehovah they really mean the wt society.

  and local elders, ms, really are wt appointees, now done by the co, a man with no assets.
