  yes, friends, it's that time once more... when we clip some wt art to a post and try to find all the subliminal wt propaganda messages hidden in the illustration.

  (kinda like, "can you find the differences between these two drawings" for kids in the sunday comics).

  Notice how these naughty children are labeled "modern-day Absaloms". Interestingly, the study article describes Absalom as a power-hungry asshole who snared a kingship that wasn't rightfully his via some silvertongued wordsmithing and empty promises. Hmmm... Not only that, his arrogance ultimately proved to be his undoing.

  Let's see now: Who does this more closely resemble, seven self-appointed geriatric control freaks in New York or the poor harmless kids posting on Facebook they're trying so desperately to repress?

  Question for Dogpatch (Randy): What will it cost to produce the new 16-page Watchtower & Awake?

  when literature used to be sold d2d, i remember how the society never missed an opportunity to trash other religions for "peddling god's word for profit" while boasting about how the watchtower only charges for the cost of the paper and ink.. in the book "witnesses of jehovah", the author mentioned that randall watters used to be involved in print cost analysis and determined that, while we were selling wt & awake mags for 20 cents door-to-door, it was really only costing the society 4 cents per copy to produce.

  that's a whopping 400% profit!.

  obviously, things have changed... the paper is different, as well as the ink and printing methods in general.

  I think, at its most fundamental level, "God" is simply an anthropomorphic concept for that which transcends anthropomorphic concepts. "Divinity" would be another word for it. A connection or experience with another human being that leaves you with a feeling of the sublime, something higher and greater than yourself and your physical existence.

  Realistically, they're not counting on a high volume of readership (let alone fact-checking - that's left up to us apostates). What they're counting on is a high volume of placement. It's mostly about busy work nowadays.
