I thought Jehovah used the waters returning to their normal state to crush and drown Pharoah's army? Where's the water? Why did Jehovah have to use arrows and spears?
slight weapons malfunction...

FADERS YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED - BELIEVE IT OR NOT!.
by mankkeli into onthewayout, 00dad, cedars and other reknowned faders.
reports have reached patterson that faders are much more dangerous than those disfellowshipped.
their reasons for fading are no longer new to the gb.

In future, medical reports MUST be provided to the service committee, and while at home you MUST be connected by telephone which would be arranged and constantly monitored by the sound overseer
As if it hasn't happened repeatedly already, this is where you lose complete credibility.

Has anyone gotten reinstated and faded as soon as they could ?
by Pitchess Co-Gen ini'm think about doing this trick to get reinstated, and quit.
i have since moved 75 miles north of los angeles, so i'm not going back to the congregation that disfellowshipped me in the first place.
i'm just doing this for my family.

If they faded, they will still be considered "disfellowshipped". New rules will soon be published to reinforce this stance. Watch out!. We are always happy to embrace jehovah's loving kindness on arrangements established towards maintining the purity of the christain congregation.

I think it's very important to pluck some joy out of every day - even if the bulk of the day is going through the motions or if you're going through a difficult time. By looking for and finding the joy, there's less time to fret about tomorrow and dwell on yesterday. Sometimes it's watching other people laugh together, sometimes it's seeing something in a moment that strikes you as comical and having a laugh on your own - whatever it is that you can stop and enjoy is worth it and can change your day. I suppose that's a way of living in the moment, realizing that this moment won't come again so damn it I'm going to enjoy it!

What Do You Say or Is It Better to Saying Nothing?
by Eiben Scrood ini miss some of my old watchtower friendships.
usually i can just put the people out of my mind but when a big event comes up like me expecting my first child, i did reach out a bit.
this one friend in particular was kind of like an older brother to me.

This is a very slippery slope - probably best to just wish him Merry Christmas and...wait...scratch that. Probably best to just reply that he's given you food for thought and that you hope he's doing well.
Your experience is exactly why I haven't contacted anyone from my JW past - no matter how much I miss them. It's so hard to let them preach all this crap at you without responding with actual intelligent thought that it becomes an exercise in frustration. My (former) friends know that I'm here for them whenever they need me...this has been made clear many times, so I wait and hope the scales will come off their eyes eventually.
Congrats on the upcoming addition to your family! That's wonderful news.
