Gee, that's unfortunate. Have either of them considered consulting a psychiatrist, I wonder...

Are YOU a person who "collects" things? Let's chat a moment . . .
by Terry inas a kid i only collected comic books until around 1962.. my collection was very important to me and i had emotional excitement at the release of a new comic--but--i made a date with 2 girls.
on the same day and didn't have any money!
(not thinking it through, you see :).

Not sure if this counts, but I collect scotch canisters - they make for nice decoration amongst books and on top of bookshelves. Emptying the bottles that come in them is the best part.

Start the show from the beginning, nonjwspouse. You kinda get immune to the zombies splashing everywhere.

"Evidently"? oh wait...I'm used to that meaning something else...
Any way, YES, it's a very big hit and what I love most about it is the character development that has happened over each season. You obviously need to suspend disbelief because the whole premise is ludicrous but the people make it truly great.

NEW WATCHTOWER society image vs. CLASSIC

I think this TV thing could be freakin' awesome. If they put their ideas out there on a public forum like this and share with the world their thoughts on homosexuality, blood transfusions, apostates, disfellowshipping, the devil controlling the entertainment and political arenas, short skirts and tight pants, people who think they're just a benign religion may start to see them for the cult they are.

'worldly' events vs JW events... the fear, and the reality
by undercover ini went to what a jw would call a 'worldly' wedding a couple of weeks ago.. having been raised a jw, i had never been to a 'worldly' wedding until i was in my late 20s or early 30s.
the horror stories of 'worldly' people in general kept me from associating with 'worldly' people, except as necessary through work, etc.
as i became more willing to associate with workmates and other 'worldly' people, i started to realize the fear that had been instilled in me was mostly false.

Three Types of People and Their Destinies!
by Kalos in[christiansincluding jwstried very hard with their evangelism among the hindus, but did not accomplish much.
because the hindus are in possession of something better.
the actual name of hindus is sanatana dharma (eternal duty) which is defined as taking delight in the welfare of all beings (bhagavat gita 12:4, 20) hindus (which literally means those who live by the sides of indus river) is a superficial and geographical name given to them later.
