stop the rush to war
most americans agree that iraqs longtime dictator, saddam hussein, is a sadistic thug.
despite this, white house calls for a massive, preemptive invasion of iraq are dangerously misguided, and not in tune with americans current priorities.

i don't have any but i am going to tell on my lady boss, who is a 26 yr old lawyer of the hoity toity breed who was incidently born with golden slippers.
this morning as i walked into the ladies room we passed each other as she was on her way out.
we smiled and said hi, then next thing i see her pass her hand under a drip from the tap...and then hastily wipe her hand on the towel before rushing out.
I blow my nose on my cat. I thought this was normal behavior until I mentioned it to some co-workers; they all assured me it is far from the norm. Honestly though I believe people dont know what they are missing. I mean when I have a cold for more than a few days my nose gets so sore and red that using a tissue is just painful. A soft cat is much better and after I blow my nose the cat just cleans itself so I can use him again. The cat does not seem to mind.

P.S. longhair cats are better for this.
i was hoping someone could help me out.
i will be taking the a+ exam within the next four weeks and i wanted to know if anybody else here has taken it.
was it hard.
Hello everyone,
I was hoping someone could help me out. I will be taking the A+ exam within the next four weeks and I wanted to know if anybody else here has taken it. Was it hard. The new stuff is not much of a problem for me but I suck at DOS info. Does anyone know any good brain dumps or web sites that could help me prepare?

any one else seen this one?.i thought it was very good about viet nam with mel gibson.the horror of war and the the display of brutality was very realistic .just wondering if any viet nam vets experieced anything close what was portrayed in this community.
This movie was excellent. It did a good job of portraying the soldiers on both sides as human beings and told the story of solider with out any political overtones. My father was in Vietnam in 1968/69 and has told me that every movie on Vietnam has missed the mark wildly. Either they were simply sterilized versions of what happened (the green berets), exited reality completely (Apocalypse now), or simply focused on the worst units with the lowest moral (Platoon).
I would give this movie a 9 out of 10. It was better than Blackhawk down (which I also liked). Also I believe they scored the movie the way they did to go for a more serious atmosphere.

Ahhhh football. As a lifelong Steelers fan I have to pick them to go all the way. They actually have a good shot this year; Jerome is in excellent shape and Kordel has been improving steadily at QB. In fact if Kordel improves much more he will become adequate and with the Steelers defense and run orientated offense thats all you need from your QB. With that being said I also realize the patriots are VASTLY underrated. Last year they beat the Steelers (at home) the raiders and the rams, that accomplishment alone should garner some respect. Also the off season has only helped them. So while I am picking the Steelers the team they are going to have to beat are the pats.
BTW: The cowboys and 49s are both heading towards a .500 season.

i started a new thread because the other one was about going to see it and i just got home from seeing it .
some of the reviews said it didn't answer many of the questions it brought up.
my opinion: au contraire!!
The movie defiantly had holes in the plot that you could drive a truck through. It was also not up to the standards of the sixth sense or even unbreakable. Taking that into account I still have to say that I liked the movie and would recommend it. I think a lot of people are coming into this movie with misaligned expectations that are causing disappointment. This movie is not Brave Hart by any stretch of the imagination. I knew going into this movie than it was going to be more of a drama than an action movie so I was not disappointed. If youre going to see this movie think along the lines of the close encounters of the third kind movie type.

you might think i'm being picky here, please dont take this the wrong way.
the thing is, i'm stuggling with my health at the moment and am going in hospital to see if my cancer has spread.. heres my gripe: some people (noone on this board) say to me, over and over, that they know someone who had skin cancer and they're fine now....how they can just remove the mole and everything is fine.
well for the purposes of educating people:.
LDS,
This is probably a stupid but honest question. I did not think dark skinned people got skin cancer I thought it was more of a 'white' thing.
