Why they even bother to report the partakers I don't know. They've already demonized them as mentally retarded, and ripped their status as part of the FDS.
What's the point anymore?

it has been added to the archive of all prior yearbooks.

Partakers 15,177...lol
Almost double what is was at the lowest point.
all that jesus spoke about in matthew 24 was fulfilled in the first century.
all of jesus' warnings in that passage were relevant only to natural jews.

Well Jesus returned in kingdom glory within the lifetime of his first disciples. Revelation 1:7 features a message John was given to inform first century Christians to behold (Look out for) the then coming King on the clouds.
Or John found some of the shrooms on Patmos, I like that story better.
put aside all the stupid rules, beliefs, doctrines and practices of the jehovah's witnesses.this is one of the main reasons why i stopped attending all meetings!
boredom.
monotone speakers.
I believe their failure to deliver CONTENT over the last two decades is really at the root of what we are seeing now.
People demand to be either entertained, or educated when they are spending their free time. The meetings fail miserably on both counts. I'm not sure how often they are dragging out the TVs now, but I'm sure the troops love at least a few minutes away from the boring drones on stage.
if you were a jw and are now an atheist or agnostic, what was the tipping point that made you turn to it?.
the reason i ask is i have noticed that many who leave the jw's seem to turn to atheism, versus still having some form of a faith.
have many of you given up on god first or have you had atheistic views first and then found atheism to be true.
JWs poison the well on all other religions fairly well, that was a good starting point for me.
After deconstructing JW beliefs, I applied the same tests to Christianity. It failed miserably in every area.
ok, at our recent assembly, i noticed that there were quite a lot of brothers wearing beards.
not just the older dudes, but right across a range of ages, young men, middle aged men and older men.
is watchtower beginning to relax this rule at last?
Doctor note to grow a beard?? Hahahahahahahaha
Hmmmm, it may just be a cult!
i have been a jw my whole life and i have never been able to get a clear answer on this question.
jw's do not believe that jehovah will intervene if someone is sick, dying or stopping a car crash.
they feel that jehovah is letting "this world" play out before he solves all of these problems.
JWs and all other religions simply don't apply the logical rule - if your going to give God the credit, you also have to give him the blame.
For JWs, all that were obedient to the blood policy and lived, Jah gets the credit. If they die, he should get the blame. Its that simple.
i was dwelling over a discussion going on at jw-archive.
the old topic of the legitimacy of the gb and the concept of centralized organization.
despite what the wt claims, there are a number of examples in the new testament of actions and decisions taken without direction or even the awareness of the elders in jerusalem.. despite whatever other evidence jw may have about the organizational tendencies of god (namely the creation, universe, whatever else they usually bring up), the concept of an organized nation never originated from god.
let me begin by stating that i have no insider information, this is merely my observation.
i believe that some time ago in watchtower land, somebody at hq posed these questions (probably an outside consultant because i don't think the gb is this hip): .
what would happen if we cut in half the average age of the responsible brothers in the organization?
Over the years I've heard speculation that maybe they've consulted outside the religion for any number of things.
After watching this clown show evolve into ever greater stupidity over the last decade, I have no reason to believe that anyone other than the insulated fools at the top continue to call the shots. They are a random group of seven high school graduates who suddenly have massive power in their golden years - with zero talent to back it up. Its a sinking ship, slowly sinking I'll admit, but sinking nevertheless.
there is a limit to how much straw (long yellow grass) a camel can carry on its back.
if you keep putting more straw on top, it will finally break the camel's back.
when you are at the last straw you are finally angry and will not take any more.. my moment (to stop attending all watchtower meetings) was after the harsh treatment from the elders and fellow congregation members of my second cousin who was disfellowhipped as a teenager.
That pic is so absurd! Hilarious how the chairs continue to get shittier as you go down the food chain!
Also absurd when the vast size of the universe is considered. Here these tools are, amid a universe so vast no human can even comprehend its size, sitting at the top of the chain - Jesus' right hand men, so to speak!
