  If you were in the Governing Body, how would YOU change the generation prophecy?

  i personally would lose the overlapping terminology and just say that the generation refers to the entire jehovah's witness movement.

  jesus is basically saying that the movement would not be gone when end comes to fruition.

  this will give us hope during the great tribulation because there will be times when our extermination seems imminent.. what about you?.

  You think it is funny, but Gerrit Loesch actually said something like that!

  He apologized and said that "there were some individuals who believed that the end will come in 1975 or shortly after that" and than he added: "It was more than their personal wrong expectation! Because even GB members and editors of the WT magazine believed that, and put that in the magazine." "Many witnesses were dissapointed when nothing happend in 1975", he said. "GB members dissapointed even themselves."

  i also thought it was interested they would say "type the phrase "end of the world" and the year "2012" into one popular internet search engine".

  i thought they want to discourage use of the internet.

  So, you've never heard a brother calling another a fool? Have you ever heard Jesus calling his close friends a satan and a devil? (Mark 8:33; John 6:70) Do you think that Jesus wasn't acting in a "Christian manner" when he said something so bad about his close friends, his brothers Peter and Judas?
