Wasn't this last Sunday's WT study about the "Great Apostacy" and how god's organization was cleaned out from within, the weeds. Was that about this issue?

Bible Students/Jehovah's Witnesses
by StAnn ini hope i'm coherent here as i have a question.
from what i read somewhere in the numerous ex-jw publications, the majority of the bible students who followed c. t. russell were appalled by the changes that rutherford forcefully imposed and they refused to follow rutherford.
because rutherford was president of the corporation, the bible students could not keep the names of the watchtower and the ibs but left the organization under rutherford and have continued to this day, following russell's teachings, and still calling themselves the bible students.

by lesabre intomorrow is my birthday!

Humerous new book re JW's about to be published.
by TheEndIsNigh ini'd really appreciate a few minutes of your time to have a look at my forthcoming book called : the end is nigh...again (but this time we really mean it.).
unlike many books about this subject it isn't dry or serious.
i've kept it light and aim to laugh at the craziness of that unlikely faith.

Help! Today's (5/23) WT study
by Dagney inanybody who went, was there any supposedly "nooo" light regarding trouble in the congos during the last days?
got a call from a "sis" on the way to the meeting telling me about this interesting "nooo" light.
not sure exactly what she was saying, something like "satan (i know i know) is actually bringing people into the congregations to disrupt them.

Why do I feel like a Barbie???????
by babygirl30 ini said that to my therapist yesterday morning...told her that the best way for me to describe my life was to sum it all up and say 'i feel like a barbie' - cause i do!!!.
every aspect of my life was controlled: what i am supposed to wear, my 'role' as a female in the cong, getting baptized, going in service, how i'm supposed to act and talk, who i'm to associate with (or not), going to meetings, driving 'certain' cars (no 2-doors), how to do my hair, whom to date and marry, blah blah blah...... when you add it all up - that is a barbie's life!!!
any girl that has played with barbie's understands that you are purely in control of 'her'.

Social Networking Media to Hasten the Demise of Watchtower
by Scott77 inthe social networking media technologies like facebook, will over the years, continue to present insurmountable challenges to the growith, stability and eventual demise of the watchtower as an organisation.
realizing this inevitabilty, its therefore easy to predict that over the coming years, more and more talk about the perceived 'threat' of internet will be part of standard talks in kingdom halls, assemblies and convections.. what do you think about that?

It won't be those already in that will be affected. It will be those new studies that land on an apostate page and decide not to join.
