Tame animals in the New System
by brotherdan inso i was thinking about this whole idea of animals being tame and getting along with each other and how the wts depicts this in their artwork.

Your leaders have spoken:
*** w74 6/15 p. 376 par. 7 Serve with Eternity in View ***
7 Not all of God's living creation is eternal. We know that plants, even long-lived trees, eventually die. (1 Pet. 1:24) And there is no Biblical evidence that God purposed for individual animals to live forever. Yet it was different with humans. God held out to our first parents the prospect of never dying. By obedience they could have hoped to live eternally. (Gen. 2:17) God's purpose in this regard was not interrupted by man's fall into sin. But the Bible shows that His purpose to have obedient humans living forever on earth is definitely going to be realized. That will be accomplished by means of God's kingdom, which, as described in Revelation 12:1-5, was born in heaven in 1914 C.E. Yes, since then it has been appropriate to say: "The kingdom of the world did become the kingdom of our Lord."-Rev. 11:15. -

Have any of you asked your JW family why they started the kool-aid edition?
by serenitynow! ini mean really asked why after all these years they don't want the public to see the study articles?.
has anyone ever challenged a jw to give the private wt to "worldly" people?.
i've asked my mom why they have the private edition and she gave me some crap about not having to explain terms or teachings to worldly people, then she kind of blew me off like it wasn't an important issue.

According to the WT Study this past Sunday, questioning the Slave is equivalent to questioning God & Jesus.
by miseryloveselders ini didn't see if blondie did a wt review or not, but i wondered if anybody else caught this?
paragraph 15.. .
sadly, though, some have become casual or even cynical about reminders concerning the need to stay awake.

I posted this on another thread:
A "sister" said, "We watched the dates come and go and didn't lose our faith." (or something close to that).

Hi Randy,
There was a story going around years ago about a Sister who lived in Tennessee, worked the night shift, and walked through a cemetery as a short cut to work. One night, she encountered a "worldly" woman who approached her and asked the sister if she'd escort her through the cemetery, since she was afraid of walking through it alone after dark. The sister replied "Why yes, I'll be happy to walk with you. You know, I used to be afraid of cemeteries too, when I was a part of the world." Whereupon the "worldly" woman fainted unconscious to the ground.
Cheers...
JIM
