yes, i too have wondered how an assembly that is held in a fully paid for assembly hall, with no food service, could possibly have $10,000 in expenses.

i suppose the bethel speakers have transportation expenses - maybe $1000 or so.

as for rent on the assembly hall, well you have already paid for it once, why pay again?

Restoring the "life pattern", where is THAT in the Bible?

when the watchtower tries to explain the resurrection it says that the individual's "life pattern" is placed in a re-created body.. ok, what i want to know is where does this concept come from?.

where in the bible does "life pattern" appear?.

for that matter, has the watchtower even defined what a person's "life pattern" is?.

if so - without divulging any names , approximately how much was donated to the wt society ?

if you are aware of approximate amounts.

as many know the wt society yearly puts out calls in their publications for witnesses to donate trust funds, wills, inheritances, estates, jewelry, cars and whatever else they have to promote the aleged " kingdom interests " in furthering the " good news " around the world.. personally i feel it's all been a scam to continue exercising control over witnesses by influencing them to financially deprive themselves so the wt society can continue it's operations.

While I agree it is uncurable, it is stoppable (if that's a word). Catching these people by using their own blatant speech and actions will get them off of the streets. The Wiki site disgusted me too, but by allowing sites like those that allow pedos to express their "desires", the pedos are making their own nooses. The activist sites are doing good work.

given the warnings that "those who follow the beast" go into destruction....why would anyone follow the beast unless they thought they had no choice, or unless there was some gain to be had personally?.

could it be because many are misled into believing the beast is their salvation in some way?.

why would they cling to the scarlet robe of the harlot?.
