Blood transfusions for pets
by Heartofaboy inhas anyone had the experience of their pet being saved by a blood transfusion?.
a lovely down to earth couple in my old congregation allowed a transfusion for their dog when it developed life threatening complications after surgery.
lo & behold the transfusion did actually save the dog's life.

Now, let me get this straight about fertilizer... one can't use fertilizer if it has blood in it, because "blood should serve no useful purpose" once it's "taken from the body".
Wait, wait, wait.....WAIT! Blood is supposed to be poured on the ground. Where do we use fertilizer? On the ground! If I behead a chicken for dinner, can I do it over my garden?

Assembly talk admits that meetings are boring.
by easyreader1970 ini made a post yesterday about some of the stupidity that has been flowing from my most recent assembly program.
one things i forgot to mention was this:.
hd television, video games, cell phones, and other interactive electronics - all of these things are very highly stimulating to the eyes and ears and kids (and maybe some adults, too) get used to receiving this type of visual and auditory input.

I think I understand MadJW. I'm not saying his way is right or justified. He is searching, like all of us are or did. He sees the bad things in the governing body and acknowledges that. He's looking for validation that there is one true religion out there that is not directed by a group of men. He hasn't found it. He's frustrated and lashes out. I understand that. I just wish he would change his tactics a bit so that he can really open up and see that he has the truth already, apart from the JWs. It's hard for me to see the real MadJW through the anger? frustration? I catch a glimpse of it now and then though.

Brace yourselves: The GOOD things about the WTBS! heh
by theMadJW inyes-lotta nonsense; a self-proclaimed "slave class" that is not a prophet but like a prophet, giving so awfully embarrasing opinions that are supposed to be automatically acceted by all of us jws...pretenders...mistakes... and moves not "discreet" at all- like the ngo united nations membership they secretly had for awhile....terrible, isn't it?.
i mean, look at the inspiring example we have in churchianity: such wonderful dogma- such as the three sadist-gods who have been torturing billions of men, women, and children for thousands of years- with eternity to go...and god making the universe in 72 hours...and backing the wars of their governments- "god and country!
", as they send their men out to war, telling them they will be blessed for it, and so many more wonderful revelations: the rapture, once-saved, tithing, etc.

I recognize that Darth. But they put SOOOO much emphasis on the origins of EVERYTHING else. But they ask everyone to ignore their own. I want to know why that is.
I think that is part of Mad's problems with the controlling arm of the JW's. The hypocrisy of it all.
