As long as there isn't a Hurricane bearing down on Central Florida, nothing different than any other Friday. Hurricane Charley hit us hard on Friday th 13th 2004. If there is a storm headed our way, I'm headed to Georgia!

Need help!
by Snowboarder inhello wounderfull people, i would like to thank everyone for they help before, but i still need moral support, i have made my mind up and i want to thanks a member of the aussie team olympic team for responding to my email.
it really means a lot for me when i don't have any real friends when a olympic athlete responds to your email and cares.
she gave me good advice and told me it's possible even thought my situation is hard, that really gave me hope and it was that push that i need to start thinking seriously.

GO FOR IT!!!!!!
I have so many regrets, I regret not going to college right after High School, I regret not trying to find the love of my life earlier, I could go on, but you get the idea. If you are capable of going to the Olympics, go for it! DO not let anything including a cult of a religon stand in your way! Take it from someone who turns 46 this year and is in college and trying to find a guy, don't have the regrets!

I won't do anything for my mom, very devout. But my son and I are going to Walt Disney World including Epcot to see Davy Jones from the Monkees. That is my Mother's Day present to myself!

Do You Blame Your Current Life's Issues Because You Were A JW?
by minimus indo you tend to blame your problems on the fact that you were a jehovah's witness?.

Yes, there are the good things, my work ethic and studying ability that I learned as a JW. Also I can strike up a conversation with about anyone about anything. That might have come from all those forced hours in service.

Yes, I do blame somethings on the fact that i was born a JW and did stay in until I was 25. So I didn't attend college even though I did have the GPA and would have qualified for scholarships, if I had pursued them. I blame the society because I quickly found a guy and had a child before the world ended and I burned up in the Lake of Fire. Don't misunderstand me, I love my son and don't regret having him, but I did rush into a relationship with his father and that I wish I had to do over again. I wish I had the experiences that others had, I feel stunted when it comes to dating and male-female relationships.
So I now have an AA degree and I am currently working on my BS in Marketing Management. And I have a date tomorrow with a guy I really like so hopefully I won't mess it up.

A birthday party. Or even to be able to attend other kids' birthday parties. To be able to say Merry Christmas or Bless you when someone sneezed. I really wanted to be "normal." Funny thing is I don't think my kids really appreciate their normalcy.

I am 45 and I am working on my BS in Marketing Management. I did enroll when I was still in the Borg, left when I was 25. I had attended a junior college for one year, I don't really know if it affected the way I was treated, my father had been DF'd most of my growing up years. And that came with its own problems. Because I am a single mom, Pell Grant is paying for most of my schooling. I do believe our studying skills do come in handy, my GPA is 3.86.
