if you value your privacy do not ever send your real contact details to anyone, even if you trust them (because their accounts could be hacked or accessed by their relatives - and yes, this happened to people i know several times already).

Second in the Medal Table - Well Done TeamGB
by konceptual99 incan't believe it - gb is currently second in the medal table, with more golds and silvers combined than even china.
given the size of the nation it's an incredible achievement and we have won in some sports where other countries typically dominate.
i can't imagine we will stay in second but i am happy to enjoy the moment.. well done to the whole of team gb!.

It's an outstanding achievement.
It has all changed for the better since Sport England began targeting funding towards elite athletes. Most schools also got over their ridiculous "everybody is a winner - non-competitive sports" foolishness.

but only just enough to perfectly cover the suns disc, whilst still allowing us to see the corona of light and other electromagnetic forces radiating from it.. this only happens because the moon diameter is exactly 1/400th the size of the suns and is positioned at exactly 1/400th of the distance between earth and the sun!so, when we see it from the surface of earth, we are in the only place this can ever be seen, at the only time it could ever happen.

Bioenergetics is about setting up the conditions that existed in the ancient environment of an alkaline vent and passively observing life emerge.
It will prove that life is a process and not a "thing". It will show that your god is not the source of life.

Only you know about your situation but please take it easy regarding sharing bad news about the JWs with your dad if there is an opportunity to get some sort of relationship with him.

1 - If you walk under a ladder/see a black cat/break a mirror/spill salt etc. bad things will happen to you.
2 - If you don't assent to certain irrational propositions about a dead Jewish carpenter bad things will happen to you.

Actually a group of scientists who specialise in the field of bioenergetics have laid out the entire process in detail and are working on proving each step in the laboratory. I am sure it will be resolved in our lifetime.
Your god-of-the-gaps will then get even smaller.
Evolution is a fact that is totally independent of the answer to abiogenesis.
