Alex - Blood is only sacred insofar as it represents a life THAT HAS BEEN TAKEN.
That is why Israelites could eat the unbled flesh of an animal that has died of itself with impunity.
i admit to not being very well informed about the watchtower's view on blood transfusions.
i have a couple of questions that i hope someone here is able to answer.. i understand that the watchtower now considers it to be okay to receive blood fractions.. my first question is: are all fractions considered to be permissible?
and if not, specifically which fractions are not permissible?.

it’s funny how a simple question like this is something that the dubs never even consider.
my dad asked this question to a couple of witnesses and they wondered for a minute and said; .
“i never thought about it, i’ll have to ask the elders”.
Alex - Your arguments are like a puddle that rejoices how the hole if the ground is the perfect shape for it to wallow in.
Have you ever read about the history of oxygen levels and how it has influenced the evolution of life? Sean B Carroll has an excellent book on the topic. Did you know that the evolution of lignin played a vital role in the rise of oxygen in our atmosphere?
How familiar are you with the scientific evidence for evolution?
Would you be open-minded enough to discuss it?

Alex - Where did claim to be an expert on the science of medical blood procedures?
Slow down and try engaging in conversations.
TD is a contributor you should engage with on this topic.
If you want to talk about the biblical position on blood see my link above.

Alex - There was no Adam and Eve.
Humans evolved from non-human ancestors over millions of years of unguided evolution.
This statement if a fact beyond all sensible debate.

Admittedly I'm not an expert on blood procedures
Then why not stop making a lot of noise, take a step back and listen to those who are?
is this a bad joke or "fake news"?.
nbc new york is claiming "attorneys are expected on monday to announce the filing of lawsuits in king's county supreme court against eight members of the governing body of the jehovah's witnesses for alleged child sexual abuse claims.".
eventhough i would enjoy to see this happen i am very suspiciouse concerning nbcs reliability with this case.. https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/happening-today-nj-water-cosby-appeal-epstein-probe-536740491.html.
Alex - Of course it's true that there are a few 'bad apples' in every organisation.
The problem with the Watchtower is different. Among law enforcement and child welfare organisations all over the world it has gained a reputation of being worst possible example of how to endanger children. For lots of reasons it has created a perfect haven for pedophiles. Legal settlements has cost the organisation eye-watering amounts of money and now for the first time individual members of the GB are going to be held to account.
It will be fascinating.

so if you feel inappropriate please feel free to ignore me!
has anyone given a thought about what they would like for their funeral one day?.
I heard of a way of doing funerals that appeals to me. The undertaker takes care of the cremation privately and returns the ashes asap. Then family and friends get together and do their own thing with nobody presiding over any ceremony of sermons. Just go to a favourite place to scatter the ashes and have some food and drink and remember.
