How do you feel about Brexit?

We never had any influence or control. The EU parliament is a sham. DC begged them for a few concessions in order to head off a referendum and they told him to F Off.
Americans, imagine you joined a trading group with most of North, central and south America. A few decades later it has a flag, anthem and proposing and army. It is dictating many of your laws and financial policies including an incredible number of petty rules. It demands open borders within the group and directs immigration from outside.
It openly states that its aim is total political Union. You are given an opportunity to leave but it will cost you in the short to medium term. What do you decide?

The EU is a greedy, unaccountable, authoritarian, corrupt bureaucracy. It's clearly stated intention is to dissolve all European national states and create a United States of Europe led by unelected elites.
We were given the opportunity to opt out and we took it.

The media is finally finding the courage to admit Covid escaped from a Chinese lab. Matt Ridley and Alina Chan exposed this two years ago.
Even worse it looks as if it was partly supported by American funding.

Ex-B - you have been caught in a blatant lie. I could recommend some excellent books to you but I have zero confidence you would make any effort to learn.
Why are you proudly displaying your total lack of knowledge of the fossil record? There is an embarrassment of riches of fossils showing the transitions of evolutionary history. The most compelling evidence is in DNA.
The basic fact that every living thing - including humans - evolved from a common ancestor over millions of years never changes. Only new evidence of the precise details is added constantly.
Abiogenesis is still unresolved but massive progress has been made in this field. The work of Nick Lane and his team at UCL in investigating bio-energetics is especially promising. Their research seeks to bridge the transition from geochemistry to biochemistry. The details are fascinating.
Carry on with 'god-did-it' if it makes you happy. You are missing out on so much.

Our common ancestor with other non- human hominids was hominoid. Ape is not a useful term in an cladistic context, it is more appropriate when referring to extant primates.

How can someone claim to have studied the scientific evidence for evolution and then refer to " the missing link'?
Stop conflating biological evolution with abiogenesis with the origin of the universe. It makes it blatantly obvious you have not got the first clue.

Imagine a scientist who is working on a cancer cure. He also believes in intercessionary prayer. How on earth could he conduct a clinical trial?
