  i believe this list which many of us worked on needs to see the light of day again...and added to if possible.. you know you are in the wrong religion:1. when the all important question is not: "do you believe in the lord jesus christ?"....but....

  "do you believe in the "faithful and discreet slave" appointed in brooklyn in 1919?"2.

  when you will be refused baptism if: a. you don't believe jerusalem was destroyed in 607 bc (whereas all non-jw scholars, all encyclopedias and all history books say this event took place in 587 bc.)b.

  try telling that to scotland's tourists and many island communities: the ferry services are dying month by month, and the two new overdue & over-budget ferries justify a serious legal/criminal enquiry.. any bunch of incompetents who can't provide a small country with a ferry service and a legally binding contract to build 2 new boats - having controlled scotland since 2007 - has no credibility in claiming they could run a country!.

  We never had any influence or control. The EU parliament is a sham. DC begged them for a few concessions in order to head off a referendum and they told him to F Off.

  Americans, imagine you joined a trading group with most of North, central and south America. A few decades later it has a flag, anthem and proposing and army. It is dictating many of your laws and financial policies including an incredible number of petty rules. It demands open borders within the group and directs immigration from outside.

  It openly states that its aim is total political Union. You are given an opportunity to leave but it will cost you in the short to medium term. What do you decide?

  The media is finally finding the courage to admit Covid escaped from a Chinese lab. Matt Ridley and Alina Chan exposed this two years ago.

  Even worse it looks as if it was partly supported by American funding.

  Ex-B - you have been caught in a blatant lie. I could recommend some excellent books to you but I have zero confidence you would make any effort to learn.

  Why are you proudly displaying your total lack of knowledge of the fossil record? There is an embarrassment of riches of fossils showing the transitions of evolutionary history. The most compelling evidence is in DNA.

  The basic fact that every living thing - including humans - evolved from a common ancestor over millions of years never changes. Only new evidence of the precise details is added constantly.

  Abiogenesis is still unresolved but massive progress has been made in this field. The work of Nick Lane and his team at UCL in investigating bio-energetics is especially promising. Their research seeks to bridge the transition from geochemistry to biochemistry. The details are fascinating.

  Carry on with 'god-did-it' if it makes you happy. You are missing out on so much.
