  3 male passengers then get out and start stabbing / shooting people according to early reports.. but it could have been anyone for any reason, who knows, possibly jehovahs witnesses or amish.. maybe we'll never know the reason but i'm sure there will be people praying for those involved and hashtags.. thus solving the problem once and for all.. just "life in a big city" according to the muslim mayor of london, sadiq khan..

  UK Terrorists attacks

  i don't know if anyone has talked about this yet, forgive me if they have.

  but i am just so, so sad that yet more innocent lives have been so brutally taken.

  we've now had three attacks in three months and there has been countless terror attacks stopped by the police.. my jw acquaintances see these attacks as proof the end is near.

  You actually believe that if one wishes to know the reality of atheism, one needs to talk to ex-atheists?

  How many times does it have to be explained to you that atheism isn't a thing? I have almost nothing in common with 99% of atheists apart from the simple fact that we are not impressed by the claims of theism.

  Also "Darwinism" isn't a thing. Evolution is just a fact. Accept it or don't accept it. There is no club to join.

  Fink - Yes the vast majority of UK police do not carry guns or even tasers.

  Having said that nobody in a large town or city is far from specially trained mobile armed officers. Since the Manchester attack they have been highly visible on the streets. I was in Newcastle last week and counted 6 officers with automatic weapons in a small area. In london a large number of armed police are out in force in vehicles all the time. I believe they also had helicopter support.

  Most Brits approve of keeping a mostly unarmed force. A policeman with a weapon has to interact very differently with the public in order to protect his own weapon. With unarmed police an aggressive drunk is likely to get taken down by a few officers working together very professionally to protect themselves and the idiot they are arresting. Everybody goes home to their families. As we see all to often in the USA potentially minor incidents can escalate quickly with fatal consequences.

  I don't believe all police have the suitable psychological skills to be armed. In the UK police have to pass rigorous selection and training to be armed. The course has a high failure rate.

  Most UK officers will never encounter a criminal with a gun during their career.

  There are tens of thousands of personal accounts of the abuse suffered by members of both cults to be found online.

  Islam is both a spiritual and a political movement. The majority of Muslims are only concerned about the former and ignore a central theme of the quran and Hadith to spread the domain of Islam by force - Allah's laws being followed in Allah's land.

  Christianity also longs for the day when the whole world will be Christian. The difference is that Christians are to wait for Jesus to destroy the unbelievers and establish his kingdom. Muslims are commanded to act now to make it happen.

  The Islamic terrorist's objective is to make us submit to Islam out of fear of the further consequences for not doing so. Muslim terrorists are not insane or mentally unstable. They genuinely believe they are following the instructions of their god and will be rewarded for doing so. Their actions - from that perspective - are entirely rational.
