  the troubling reality is that many chose not to do it.

  " independence would simply mean replacing the overlords of the westminster parliament with a new set of overlords in brussels, because the scottish national party is desperate to join the eu.

  It is Westminster who are saying there will be no hard border in Ireland under any circumstances. The EU are insisting there will be one if we don't agree a deal.
