  I don't know anybody (yet) who has been hit by somebody talking on their phone.

  Studies show otherwise. Among all the common distractions you might experience in the car using a phone is uniquely dangerous. The research is easy to find online. The death toll speaks for itself. There was a time people boasted that drinking and driving might be a problem for others but not for them.

  I could not count how many near misses I have seen caused by drivers chatting on the phone.

  He has two previous convictions for hate crimes against white females.

  If he is mentally ill he needs to be locked up in secure hospital for the public's protection. Are we going to wait until he knifes somebody?

  I don't know if the judge would have aced differently if it was a white man attacking an Asian baby but I know the media outcry would be deafening.

  It is the United Kingdom not 'England'.

  It is not illegal to sell individual kitchen knives in the UK.

  It is not illegal to eat and drive in the UK.

  The UK has a Conservative government - it is not a 'socialist crap hole'. It has not had a Socialist government since the early '80s. You need a better source of foreign news (or you could just ask).

  Driving is by a long way the most dangerous thing most of us do regularly. Anything that distracts the driver increases the risk. Controlled experiments show that, for reasons deeply rooted in human psychology, talking on the phone massively increases driving risk. It's entirely reasonable that governments legislate to reduce the number of unnecessary road deaths.

  In the UK there is an offence of 'not being in proper control of a motor vehicle' that police have the discretion to use if a driver is distracted by anything that significantly affects his driving - food/shaving/makeup/books/sat nav/pretty girls etc. The mobile phone ban is a special case of this pre-existing law.

  The evidence that talking on a mobile while driving massively increases risk. Two offences in UK equals a driving ban although hands-free Bluetooth devices are legal.

  I sat with a young lad as he died a few years ago when he lost control of his car while using a mobile. His girlfriend died a few days later.

  The most commonly used word on insurance claim forms is "suddenly". What they really mean is "I wasn't paying attention when...".
  

  Put you phone away, get two hands on the wheel, and focus on driving. Everything else can wait.

  No not at all. I was an evangelical xtian so I know how misguided the WT description of the trinity is. Your explanation of the personification of god's love/word/hands seems very ambiguous as a description of the trinity.

  Paul’s teaching of all sins being forgiven for the gentiles and the JWs?

  paul teaches through many of his writings using terms like justification, redemption, atonement etc.

  that gentiles are not only forgiven of sin both past and present but even their conscience is clean of such actions.

  how do the jw teachings get around all these scriptures and pauline books in the bible that clearly teach this???

  JWs do technically teach that their sins are forgiven on the basis of Jesus' death even if their understanding of that is different from most xtians.

  You can basically say anything an evangelical xtian would say regarding soteriology and a JW would just keep nodding their head but there is a significant difference.

  Put simply, xtians believe Jesus died for their sins. JWs believe Jesus died because of what Adam did.
