  According to the Old Testament aren`t YHWH God and the then Nation of Israel guilty of War crimes by today`s standards? ?

  just going by memory here with regard to the "old testament' when god promised the land he chose for the jews ,flowing with milk and honey ?.

  their is no record in the bible of god ever giving an option to all the nations that already lived their to move on and he would compensate them at a new destination.?.

  apparently without warning he just charged up the israelite`s for war with these nations to evict them from this territory that they had resided in for who knows how long.. not only that ,they apparently spared no one in their conquests killing man,woman and even dashing children to pieces ,and not feeling sorry for anyone.. don`t people think that this is a bit barbaric ?.

  they can edit their own versions to conform to their doctrines but what's stopping people to hand flyers or glue posters with the actual quotes in contradiction to their statements?.

  Every one of your proof-texts can easily be countered by other proof-texts and by putting a different 'spin' on the verses in question.

  For example 'eternal punishment' can be understood to mean annihilation with no hope of resurrection - the judgement is 'eternal'.

  Reasoning with a JW takes far more insight an subtlety. Trading verses is pointless. Most of their beliefs can be supported by bible translations other than their own.

  It has not been my experience that Christians lack empathy.

  The Evangelical ones have a strange compartmentalisation where they tend to be very kind in practice while believing the objects of their benevolence are bound for Hellfire.

  Speaking as a football fan, coach and as a Scotsman, Scottish football is in a bad way.

  The standard of football is dire. The money available to clubs is a tiny fraction of the budget of English teams. It's also poorly run by the men in suits at Hampden.

  My local club has just been relegated out of the SPFL.

  The criticisms of the methodology are valid.

  Another factor to consider is that there is a strong genetic component for religiosity. Children in religious households are likely to have inherited those genes which may also account for their 'sensitivity to justice'.
  

  In other words it's not the child-rearing and religious indoctrination that affects the child's personality but their genetic inheritance.

  On the other hand, teaching children that the world divides into 'them and us' does not contribute positively to their social development.

  As for your claim that it persecutes Orthodox Jews that is ridiculous. It is the state's indulgence of Orthodox Jews that is the source of tension in Israel and rightly so.

  What is wrong with Hollyweird?

  so, the trailer for the new batwoman series was released a few days ago.. proof positive that hollywood, cw network and other movie/tv producers live in their own bubble and are continuing to push their sjw agenda.. the trailer itself has unbelievable levels of cringe at times.. batwoman happens to be a woman (if you hadn't already guessed) and an out and proud lesbian.

  of course, there's nothing wrong with any of this, it just feels so forced.

  within a few seconds of the trailer you get some girl-on girl action, just to hammer home the sexuality thing.
