i don't normally bother with the gutter press, but this was interesting.. what they didn't show was that the faces of the kids, probably due to their age.. i saw the picture before it was pixelled out.
interesting that the kids with the machettes looked like members of the religion of peace.. just sayin'.. interesting to see what low life scum the film was about.. good grief, can't the jobos be right and armageddon(tm) come?.

I have no reason to think that they are Muslim youths or immigrants. They are little wannabe gangstas imitating their American anti heroes.
The irony is that the message of the film was against gang culture. VUE reported 24 violent incidents in their cinemas around the UK before they took the decision to take the film off their listings.
I despair for the next generation of the black community.

I agree. The definition of evolution can include how life began, but how different disciplines of science agree to divide up the workload adds up to nothing more than a semantic debate.
Every species - including the 99.9% of species that have gone extinct - descended over millions of years by unguided evolution using processes including but not limited to natural selection.
That process got started after geochemistry gave rise to biochemistry - a process known as abiogenesis. This happened amazingly quickly after the earth formed but it was not until the arise of eukaryotic cells that complex life got going. It is possible that bacterial life will turn out to be very common in our galaxy but life of the sort we are familiar with might be unique to earth.

The relationship between species is investigated by biologists, geneticists and paleontologists among others. Abiogenesis is mostly the domain of chemistry and bioenergetics.
Creationists always want to deflect from the overwhelming evidence for evolution - post Cambrian explosion in particular - by demanding a detailed explanation of abiogenesis. The Watchtower does this every time it addresses the subject.

l went to see ford versus ferrari / le mans 66 according to where you live .
now l am no petrol head and talk of motor racing usually makes my eyes glaze over but this film is about much more than laps on a circuit .

One reason might be that Mormon missionaries represent a tiny minority of members and they can be properly trained to comply with correct procedures. While on mission they can't even take a shower without being supervised by their partner.
All JWs knock doors. Some of them couldn't be trusted to tie their own shoe laces. A percentage of them would inevitably mess up and get the cult into trouble.

I am in favour of the British royal family but Andrew is a complete disgrace. I have never heard anybody who has met him say a good word about him.
In my judgement he is a liar. His hubris led him to think he could make it go away by dismissing it all on TV and hoping the peasants would take his word for it.
It is hard to believe he did not know exactly what this friend was up to and enjoyed it to the full.

How Much of the WT Teaching Did You Believe?
by Ding insome people on this forum have said that they never really believed any aspect of wt teaching, that they couldn't wait to get free of it all.. others seems to have been really gung ho, believing it all until something happened that got you questioning "the truth.".
i would say my own high water mark was about 50%, which put me squarely on the fence, trying to decide if i should be in or out.. how about you?.
