How does the watchtower come up with it's dates? (607, 1878, 1914, 1975 etc)

can you help me out to find out how the watchtower gets to the date 607 and is it used in the 1914 doctrine?

information about 1975 and other key years in the watchtower's history will be neat to have to, such as the date judge came up with involving the return of abraham, david, and others.

i read this page http://www.jwfacts.com/watchtower/medical.php about old light about organ transplants..anyways so here is the timeline in short after reading that page.. organ transplants acceptable in 1961.

...it does not seem that any scriptural principle or law is involved.

it therefore is something that each individual must decide for himself.
