  Laying on of hands: Was done FAR before Jesus time....

  deuteronomy 34:9 - and joshua the son fo nun was full of the "spirit of wisdom" for moses had laid his hand upon him.. .

  this adds to some thoughts which had come to be lately from my studies..... jesus was sending the "spirit of truth".

  also some had prayed that no unclean spirit, wicked spirit, or satan would enter them.
