  dubs think that russell is de man, he is the "first cause" of modern jwism.

  what would happen if a young dub the age that russell was when he first started his questioning of his and i must assume his father's religious beliefs.

  would that young dub be allowed to explore his religious views in a similar way without getting himself into a great deal of problems.

  I like djeggnog because he's one of the few "believing" witnesses not afraid to read information that challenges his beliefs.

  is there more women involved with the jw's than men

  i keep seeing hints thrown around on this site that tends to say that they are more women involved in the jw's than men .is this true?.

  w91 7/1 p 16: "statistics show that "the women telling the good news are a large army," making up the major part of the army of Witnesses that Jehovah is using in this time of the end".

  In the congregations I have been there are always a good 2-4x more single sisters than single brothers in a given congregation. I've met ONE brother in my life with an unbelieving mate and dozens of sisters with unbelieving mates.

  JW blood card changes advance medical directive flip flops

  the first example shown is one of the older versions of the blood card that jehovah's witnesses (jw) carried.

  you will note its clear and uncompromising statement about the use of blood.

  it says specifically "i demand that blood, in any way, shape or form, is not to be fed into my body...".

  There is an even newer one, at least in some countries, with space for the JW to write their wishes in regards to minor blood fractions. Now, if they'd only extend that section to major blood fractions and whole blood then we'd have a good card.

  This was brought up in the outline for the CO's visit with M.S. and Elders. The point was made that we discourage facebook, but cannot say not to use it.

  while posting on another thread, i thought of this.

  for me, it was the "we never said you couldn't go to college" flipflop in the mid 1990s.

  when ofc we all know that to be an utter lie.. now that i think about it, their literature is written with future flipflopping mind.

  The superior authorities. Clear, black-and-white, no room for "light getting brighter".

  Allowing blood fractions. If blood is so sacred, why are we allowed to take it in because we broke it down small enough. It still came from the same source.
