You have two choices
1, Bend over and take it like a Dub.
2, Let them come to the door and just tell them to F**k Off
I'd go for 2 if I were you!!
well after fading and keeping a low key i think the elders are finally going to get to me.
in 2007 i moved to another city but quickly moved back home about two months later.
the whole time everyone from my old congregation has been thinking i've been in another city.

that's what my older jw brother of 34 said a few months back.
he actually 100% believes that an athiest cannot have a happy life.. -sab.
Being an Athiest myself why would I beg someone I don't believe in to take me back!!
the watchtower has been known for over 130 years as a great scriptural cherry-picker.
they pick out disparate unrelated verses and combine them to support the wackiest of wacky doctrines.. on the other hand there are many scriptures they almost never address, whether because they contradict wt doctrine or because they simply don't have a clue what they mean or how to spin them to the wt advantage.. one of these is revelation 19:1 that mentions a "great crowd" "in heaven.
" the only time it is ever brought up it is dismissed.
The Bible is a piece of fictious tripe which was written by men to control men. What makes me sad is that people believe it and use it.
over the years since i left jehovahs witnesses, one of the more fascinating things to observe, and really to me, the most important, is what to do after you leave.. to be sure, no one leaves because of a positive experience.
and therein lies the issues with leaving.
basically, people leave in three general ways: 1. they, like myself, resign or leave due to a disagreement.
Since leaving the witlesses I have never had any regrets or thoughts of going back. I just look at them and think "why waste your life being a robot?"
Life is short enough, get out and enjoy yourself.
i did this today.
last night, the pretty little weather girl stated there would "be heavy rain marked by occasional thunderstorms.
" i thought to myself, great, hopefully its so bad when i awaken, anybody originally planning on going out, will just stay home.
Many a time I got as far as the car park and couldn't be arsed to get out the car.
i had my religious view on my facebook profile stating that i am a cult survivor.
my dad saw it and is trying to get the family to not speak to me..
Im sorry to hear this but it's a common thing.
If that's what your own father thinks you deserve then he doesn't deserve you as a child. These Cultists are sad to think that the Borg come before family and with views like that keep well away..
I stand and point so that makes me Male.
after lurking around here for about a month, i thought it's appropriate to introduce myself to such fine group of people.. i was never a jw.
been married to a baptized mate for over 15 years.
my wife was never technically all in, more of a fader, rarely went to meetings, the occasional memorial, a convention once or twice.
Welcome to the family Yan, my advise would be to keep the borg at arms length and watch them as they are evil.
You will find the members here have some good advise and will be able to help you out even if you just need to vent some anger.
today is st george's day the patron saint to england.
he is also the patron saint of a few other countries like germany plus a fair few cities so he does get around a bit.. have a happy st george's day everyone .
.
Lets hear it for the Dragon, there he was minding his own business and along comes some bloke called George to tell him he can't burn villages or kill virgins. Now to me I think the Dragon was having the better time and George was a party pooper!!
But still this is the one day in the year when we can celebrate being English without be called racists by the imigrants of this once "Great Britain".

Everyone of them as they were all total Bollocks believed by the simpleton who was under the delusion that it was inspired by some supreme being called Bod.
Every Dub is taught to use the scriptures to suit them and the situation even when they are wrong.
