  that would be unethical and it shouldn't happen.

  I have shingles

  i was officially diagnosed today.

  started out a little over a week ago with pain in my back, and a week ago the rash appeared.

  according to the dr, it seems i have been through the worst, and should clear in a week or so.

  I thought I had it a few weeks ago...thank goodness the rash was something else...but i really do sympathize with you. The neuralgia can be awful. I hope you have a speedy recovery and don't suffer with it too long! :)

  Dear Gaila....your eloquent articulate and even sadly poetic words accurately and succinctly depict your situation with your family. I am so sad for you and what you have suffered at the hands of those you once trusted with your life. i can only hope for you that some day soon your daughter and grandchildren will have their eyes and hearts opened with the real truth of the organisation to which they so closely adhere. My thoughts and hopes are with you at this awful time for you. The Witnesses destroyed my faith and hopes for the future and I battle internally constantly with not knowing the truth any longer. You have my profound sympathy and love as a fellow human and i'm sure many will agree that you shouldn't lose hope. I never thought I would leave but the truth shared by a fellow former witness opened my eyes and heart to the truth of the organisation and you need to have faith your family may follow suit.x

  instead of hijacking that one, i thought i'd repeat here.. now, mr. godrulz... are you prepared to back that statement up with some proof?.

  Of course there's the issue of microbes and contagious diseases too...they could not have all survived intact without killing noah and co. And the diseases would have to have had hosts to survive those conditions. What about a localised flood that covered the known world? Thoughts please.

  I'm posting this up again...thanks Lorraine for the link! I know of a number of legal issues currently in Ireland and the victims that the congregation tried to silence...I hope the victims succeed in their battle...my thoughts are with you. x
